Many practices are now offering video or telephone consultations for their patients. These new forms of patient interaction may require some change management to educate doctors and patients. Creating documentation is always helpful, especially for new staff members.
It's a good idea to identify any risks and put in place a well documented contingency plan for everyone to follow in your practice. These risks may include a patient becoming distressed or uneasy during the consultation.
It's also a good idea to prepare some easy to read troubleshooting guides that cover common technical difficulties.
