RPI Core AA Battery Holder Hat for Raspberry Pi devices.

Essentially a blank PCB (no metal) with pre-drilled holes for different 4xAA battery holder orientation.

Machine screws both pan head and countersink are included along with pan head and countersink self tapping screws. A 4xAA battery holder with wires is also included.

The PCB dimensions match the Rasperry Pi A+. You could also use the PCB for drilling additional holes for mounting of your own equipment or sensors.

We also offer a range of spacers and standoffs as additional options to allow you to create your own Rasperry Pi sandwich :)

A sneak preview of the RPI CORE INA 219 Power Monitor for Raspberry Pi devices. This tiny micro hat allows you to power your Raspberry Pi off a set of standard AA batteries and can measure battery voltage and current draw.

Shown in the video is a Raspberry Pi 3 A+ with the RPI Core INA 219 Board. Battery runtime was 8.2 hours. The boot config had Bluetooth disabled, along with power and activity LED's and the CPU throttled.

Features of the RPI Core INA 219 Power Monitor Include:
- Current and Voltage Readings via I2C
- ESD and Over Voltage Protection
- 2 LED's controllable via RPI GPIO Pins
- I2C Pull-up Resistors for Device Protection
- No Loss Reverse Polarity Protection

Samples arrived and tested, powers a Raspberry Pi A+ off 4 x Duracell Batteries for 5+ hours... Testing was with USB WiFi dongle and Pi Camera. The board monitors input voltage/battery voltage supplied to the Raspberry Pi and also monitors current draw and has 3 LED's (2 controlled via GPIO)
