13 months of programming ... 35,000 lines of code, and now Windows/macOS/iOS/Android support.

OneSync is definitely growing legs ... good to see how it has taken shape, from a customer management and support ticket system to a fully managed system running the vCloud Support/Admin teams.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE:

New vCloud OneSync Agent application, currently for Windows 32/64-Bit and macOS, but also developed for iOS/Android and Linux platforms, our first fully cross-platform application, developed on a single code base.

This agent tool has been exclusively developed for vCloud customers. It will be an application installed and run on all desktop and virtual machines for direct communication with clients, and their staff and to ensure they have direct communication with VCloud Support's help desk, the admin, and engineering teams to fast-track and create a more proactive IT support experience.

There is nothing around like this, there are chat and ticketing platforms that plug into each other. This is different it fully integrates all of the vCloud process, and support levels and fixes the last piece of the puzzle .... communication.

This also puts VCloud Support in the top 1% of IT support and MSP's as these tools are developed by us.

What does this agent allows us to:
* direct 2-way communication with vCloud customers,
* Use Windows notifications/message system for prompting users,
* chats are connected to a ticket,
* view a list of chats and notifications,
* connects directly to the vCloud Support Ticketing Portal,
* much more to come, wait for the roadmap.

This new app will be installed and maintained by the vCloud Xtreme Updater, to maintain updates and future version release. This is just the first release :)

vCloud Deployment Updater - Progress Update

Writing software is the easy part, packaging and deploying the software is always the most challenging part.

Well, this is where VCloud Development Studio will change all this.

After developing our own internal software and running it across multiple data centre platforms, we developed some software internally to help deploy our software. So naturally we thought this must be an issue for all software development companies.

With our new deployment updater tool, you can upload your program once compiled/built, then with the development tool, you start setting up the rules for deployment, ie:

1. program install location,
2. additional files to be downloaded,
3. if a database(s) needs to be updated,
4. run any powershell scripts, or
5. update/merge the registry.

With our custom server, built in the cloud, it will also allow you to manage multiple software packages, then all you need to deploy is our software tool in front of yours, to manage patching your software. Every time the icon is clicked, the deployment tool checks the cloud server for any updates, and executes accordingly.

It's really that simple!

Below is our new upload interface, now with Import from the previous build, CSV and Excel spreadsheet to make managing your patch project easier.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE:

New vCloud Email Scheduler Tool add to the VCloud Development Studio application toolset.

This will help with billing automation for sending invoices during business hours. Our staff will be able to bill at any time and all bills will be emailed within business hours 9AM-5PM on weekdays.

The new package/subscription management now allows us to:

* work with a new interface,
* not worry about what time billing is done,
* have a new way of grouping data,
* raise and complete invoices,
* modify an invoice, and
* remove an invoice from the scheduler system.

This new update will allow for vCloud’s management team to better manage clients’ invoices and give customers a better explanation of what they are being billed for.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE:

New package and subscription management modules added to vCloud OneSync.

With a new wave of subscription services and moving to a new cloud platform in the coming months. We developed some new business rules in our management software.

The new package/subscription management now allows us to:

* raise an invoice then create a subscription from an invoice,
* modify a subscription to re-order items,
* 3/6 monthly subscriptions are now supported,
* list subscriptions by business entity,
* upload service agreements directly to the client file,
* subscription grouping at a snapshot.

This new update will allow for vCloud’s management team to better manage clients’ subscriptions and give customers a better explanation of what they are being billed for.

NEW SOFTWARE RELEASE

vCloud Updater/Loader

vCloud Updater/Loader is a fully supported program updater and loader all-in-one tool.

When set to Auto Update mode, all you need to do is pass the program name, and the program fetches the required files from the cloud and downloads, updates, and then executes the program based on the version number compared between the version file and the current program installed on your computer.

In manual mode, it allows you to check, executes when to download, or just run the program so you don't need to wait for the update to download, and then execute.

This works with all Windows programs, the only prerequisite, is to have a version build number incremented every time you build a version and/or new update.

The tool will be available at request initially and by program subscription down the track.
