There's a version of AI in recruitment that makes everyone nervous. Somehow, a candidate gets missed, a message goes out wrong, or a compliance requirement slips through. Nobody catches it until it's already a problem.
The conversation around AI in recruitment needs to move past what it can do, and start focusing on how it should work.
The best use of AI isn't about removing humans from the process. It's about removing the parts of the process that were never a great use of your time in the first place. It's the repetitive data entry, the manual triggers, the admin that stacks up before anyone's even had a real conversation with a candidate or filled a shift request.
When AI is introduced thoughtfully, it should make compliance easier to maintain, not harder to track. It should give your team more visibility into their pipeline, not less. And it should operate within boundaries your agency defines, not boundaries the technology decides for itself.
Efficiency and accountability are never supposed to be trade-offs. The right system should give you both.
