Every company has run a survey that went nowhere.

Moorabool Shire Council had a cycle. Survey, results, no visible action, lack of trust, repeat. Eventually, employees stopped engaging.

So the OD team decided to make a change. They physically took devices to depots and job sites, sat with outdoor crews, and helped people log in without judgment.

Participation went from 69% to 81%. Management, the factor that captures how leaders show up for their people, rose 12% since 2022 to become the council's strongest score.

And trust...that increased too. Read the full story here: https://www.cultureamp.com/case-studies/moorabool

Forty questions. Zero warm-up. One car ride between sessions.

Here’s a sneak peek of Chris Mahony’s view on how culture drives performance.

"Pressure is privilege."

Cathy Freeman AC, in conversation with Culture Amp CEO Caroline Rawlinson, closing Culture First Forum APAC.

She learned it early. When people hold expectations of you, she said, that is a form of love. The pushy teacher who coaxed a very shy five-year-old out of a toilet cubicle and onto the start line. The coach she turned to right before the Sydney 2000 Olympics Games 400m final and asked, "Will you still love me if I don't win this thing?"

And on how you build a team that can carry that kind of weight: "Trust is central. Trust in yourself, in each other, in the journey you're about to embark on."

One take. 40 questions. Zero scripts. No pressure, right?

That's the challenge we gave Maya Joint, one of Australia's rising tennis stars, for our new series with Tennis Australia: Forty / Love.

Culture isn’t static. It flows through every meeting, through every survey, and through every performance review.

But capturing those insights shouldn't require a separate dashboard.

Using Model Context Protocol (MCP), Culture Amp's culture intelligence is now available directly inside ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants, bringing 15 years of People Science and 1.6 billion data points into the flow of work, without another login.

Employees can love their CEO and still feel disconnected from their own managers.

That's what Steve Madden found in its first employee survey, before 2020, when they didn't have a formal way to hear from their employees. Leadership took it seriously, built regular learning sessions around what they heard, and today 82% of employees say they're proud to work there.

Only 24% of HR trusts AI to act alone. That number's about to climb, and leaders are the ones pushing it up.

Here's the catch: skeptics need proof, but proof needs agentic AI most of HR hasn't tried yet. Turns out, if you're comfortable with agentic AI, you're twice as likely to see real transformation.
