Here’s a handy tip: Instead of typing a long string of text that you regularly use, set up your device so that a simple shortcut replaces it. This is great for phrases such as “On my Way” (omw) but if you use your imagination you can set text replacement to cover regular hashtags, email addresses or memberships numbers. Give it a go.

This course will introduce you to your iPad. Learn how to navigate through the various screens, control the settings so they work best for you, make the best use of contacts, maps, email, your calendar, notes and a variety of pre- installed apps. Discover some wonderful apps that can make your life even more fun and exciting. Join the ever growing community of iPad users who are changing the way we look and interact with the world. No prior knowledge required. Just bring along your iPad for two hours of discovery each week.

Intermediate iPad
Now that you pretty much know your way around your iPad, you're ready to take the next bite of that Apple. Amongst other things, learn how to: share photos easily, use the different cameras effectively, find the hidden screens, let Siri do all the work for you, manage your storage, create favourite folders in Safari, discover some tips and tricks to navigate through life and discover some fun and timesaving apps.

Google is far more than a search engine for the internet. Google has its own suite of applications which operate on Apple and Android devices and computers. Why buy expensive software for documents, photography, spreadsheets or presentations when it's all at your fingertips for free? Google even gives you 15Gb free storage. Bring along your computer or device and go OMG!
