Help Ya Neighbour: The Group Project
For the AS Colour Little Help Project, we brought together a collective of artists to create 12 unique designs, then spread them across a mix of AS Colour garments to create one life-size, wearable mural.
And we’re stoked to say… out of more than 400 entries, we’ve been shortlisted in the Top 10 for the AS Colour Little Help Project! 🥹🖤
The artwork spans everything from overalls, jackets and hoodies to shorts, caps, aprons and totes, using a combo of screen printing, embroidery, woven patches and DTF to bring it all together.
Each piece tells its own part of the story. Together, they share one message: Help Ya Neighbour.
Alongside our buy one, gift one campaign, these one-off pieces will be individually numbered and auctioned, with all proceeds donated to YPS MNC
Over the coming week, AS Colour will select two finalists before putting the winner to a public vote. If we make that final two, we’ll be calling on our community to help us bring this thing home! 🗳️
The winning project receives $10K RRP in AS Colour credit, which we’d use to take Help Ya Neighbour even further.
Our plan is to create practical Go Bags for YPS MNC to gift to young people living rough or at risk of homelessness, filled with essential clothing and everyday gear. We’d also create Ready for Work packs, providing interview-appropriate clothing to help young people take that next step towards employment and financial stability.
The remaining credit would go straight back into growing our buy one, gift one campaign, allowing us to gift more clothing, raise more funds for YPS MNC and keep Help Ya Neighbour growing.
