Studio Behana was created to bridge the gap between the overwhelm of doing it all yourself and the disconnect that can sometimes come with larger agencies.

I started this studio because I saw so many small business owners feeling unsupported, unclear in their direction, and like just another project on a to-do list. At the same time, I wanted to build a business that allowed freedom, flexibility and creativity — not just for me, but for the women I work alongside too.

Today, Studio Behana is made up of a small team of creatives (mostly mums) who care deeply about helping businesses grow in a way that feels aligned, intentional and sustainable. Women who understand the importance of being present for both business and life.

What we do goes far beyond making things “look good”.

We create strategy-backed brands, websites, content and visuals designed to bring clarity, consistency and confidence to your business — while making sure your brand actually supports the goals and lifestyle you’re building behind the scenes.

More than anything, we want our clients to feel genuinely supported. Cheered on. Seen. Held through the process. Like they have a creative team in their corner who truly cares about where they’re headed.

Back to Basics Wellness Coaching was created to guide people from a place of overwhelm toward clarity, freedom, and a more grounded way of living.

Rooted in honest conversations, practical guidance, and a deeply human approach to wellbeing, this brand identity was built around the idea of transformation — bridging the gap between where someone is now and where they want to be.

The brandmark itself brings that vision together through layered symbolism: a bridge representing transformation, wellness elements forming the shape of a person, all held within the silhouette of a bird to symbolise freedom. Simple, intentional, and deeply connected to the heart of the brand.

Paired with earthy tones, structured typography, and grounded visual direction, every detail was designed to feel calm, supportive, and clear.

A brand identity for Shipwreck Bar & Café — designed as a nod to Cooktown’s history, with an elevated nautical feel.

We brought this through with an antique nautical map of Cooktown as a core brand element, paired with a custom illustration of the HMAS Endeavour and illustrated signage details throughout.

The result is a brand that feels considered, character-filled, and connected to place — while still standing out in its own right.

This brand began with a simple intention — to support women through the natural changes of life.

More specifically, women in a stage where their health is shifting — and they’re ready to understand and support it more intentionally.

From there, the role of branding wasn’t just to look “natural”, but to feel calm, trustworthy, and deeply supportive.

We moved away from anything clinical or trend-driven, and instead built a visual identity that feels grounded, compassionate, and quietly confident — reflecting both the practitioner and the women she works with.

Because when your audience is in a season of change, clarity and trust matter.

This is what happens when strategy leads the design — not just who the brand is, but who it’s here for.
