Your homepage is the first impression of your business, so if it’s not clear, engaging, and guiding visitors where to go next, you could be losing potential clients before they even get started.
Here are 3 common homepage mistakes I see (and how to fix them):
❌ Unclear Messaging: If people land on your site and have no idea what you do, they’re gone. Your homepage should clearly explain who you are, what you do, and who you do it for, fast. Keep your headline sharp and your messaging simple.
❌ No Call-to-Action – If you’re not telling visitors what to do next, they won’t take action. Whether it’s “Book a Call,” “Shop Now,” or “Sign Up,” your CTA should be clear, easy to find, and guide them towards working with you.
❌ Messy Layout & Visual Overload – If everything on your homepage is screaming for attention, nothing stands out. Use visual hierarchy—strategic font sizes, spacing, and colours to make sure the most important info is impossible to miss.
