If your digital twin could answer questions, what would you ask it?

AI is now in InDI.
What does this mean?

Ask questions in plain English and InDI uses your documentation and 3D models to find answers, test scenarios and make recommendations.

For example: place a crane and check if it can make the lift. InDI checks the specifications and, if it can’t, recommends a suitable alternative.

Using the latest technology such AI-powered Asset Manager integration, which turns raw data into clarity your team can use. It runs in an isolated environment, using only your organisation's own data — built with privacy in mind..

From viewing your digital twin to thinking with it.

How do you bring a facility the size of Civmec's Henderson site to an exhibition stand?

Not with photographs. Not with a slide deck. With an interactive real-time 3D experience that lets senior defence stakeholders explore the facility, navigate capabilities, and understand strategic advantages in the few minutes they spend at a stand.

That's what we built for Civmec's debut at IODS 2026. The experience opens with an Australia-wide overview of Civmec's operations before drilling into the Henderson site, guided presentation or free explore, depending on who's in the conversation. Designed as a reusable BD asset for exhibitions, client meetings, and stakeholder engagement well beyond the event.

When a site visit isn't practical, bring the site to them. Read the full case study → https://sencom.com.au/case-studies/civmec-henderson-iods-2026/

If you have a conference, expo, or BD meeting in the next 6 months, this is worth starting the conversation. now. Drop us a message or book a free concept session.

Meet Roxanne

Roxanne recently joined Sentient as a Learning Designer and has already made a strong impression, both with the team and our clients.

Her work on clients eLearning modules has stood out, especially in how she brings UI/UX to life in Storyline. Clean, thoughtful, and user-focused, the kind of design that makes learning feel intuitive, not forced.

💬 “I’m passionate about creating accessible, user-centered experiences that actually make an impact and having fun along the way.”

What’s been great to see:
⭐ Strong visual design that’s already delighting clients
⭐ Focus on accessibility and real user experience
⭐ Confident running both remote and face-to-face user testing
⭐ Willing to step into challenges (even when it’s a bit overwhelming) and figure it out

📌 Roxanne helps turn training into something people can navigate easily and engage with; making it clearer, more accessible, and more effective for our clients.

Early days, but a big impact already, we are excited to see what’s next.

Who's responsible for training in your organisation?

It's not always one person's job. Compliance, safety, onboarding, systems training, code of conduct, these sit across HR, Ops, Safety, and L&D, often all at once.

We're asking the people who own these programs a direct question: where's ready-to-go content useful, and where do you need something built specifically for you?

It takes about 8 minutes. We'll share what we learn back with the industry, and you're in the draw for one of three $200 Visa gift cards.

Your answers shape what we build next!

Over the past weeks, we've shared how blended learning transforms high-risk training:

It starts with Instructional Design: structuring content around outcomes, not just compliance.

It builds with eLearning: interactive, scenario-based modules with embedded animations that prepare learners with site-specific knowledge.

It's practiced in VR: immersive environments where decisions are made under realistic pressure.

And it lands on site: where your field-based verification confirms competency in the real environment, with workers who arrive prepared rather than starting from scratch.

This is what we do at Sentient. We design training pathways that reduce time to competency and get your people to production faster and safer.

Here's what changes when workers arrive at site already prepared:

They've learned your site-specific procedures through structured eLearning — not carried over habits from a previous job. Whether it's isolation procedures, pre-starts, or equipment operation, the knowledge is aligned to your site before Day 1.

They've practiced applying those procedures in VR, so the first time they face a critical scenario on site, it's not the first time they've thought through it.

When they get to field-based verification (supervised, observed, and assessed under real conditions) they're building on familiarity, not starting from zero.

The result? Reduced time to competency. Faster progression to production. And increased safety, because workers aren't applying new knowledge for the first time in a live environment.

Blended learning doesn't replace on-the-job training. It makes it more effective by ensuring workers arrive better prepared.

This is the team behind Sentient Computing

Some of us build the 3D environments. Some write the code that makes a digital twin behave like the real thing. Some are out in the field with clients navigating complex problems most people never see across mining, defence, education and beyond. All of us are problem solvers, creating high-impact visualisations and learning tools that matter when safety, cost and time are genuinely on the line.

Every elearning or VR training scenario, digital twin and stakeholder communication piece starts here; with people who understand the job. Not because we all came from the industry, but because we've spent years deep inside it — project by project, client by client.

Perth-based; global work 🌍. One project at a time.

Most organisations already have training content. Often, a lot of it.

The challenge isn't creating more, it's making what exists actually work.

Our Instructional Design team can help you at the start of your project by auditing existing materials. SOPs, procedures, PowerPoints, toolbox talk notes, old eLearning modules.

We can sift through it, identify what's valuable, restructure it around clear learning outcomes, and work with you to fill in the gaps. The result is a training program that's purposeful, sequenced, and connected to what your people actually need to know and do.

You don't always need to start from scratch. You need someone to make sense of what you've already got.

09/07/2026

You've completed the eLearning. You understand the theory. Now prove it.

In VR, learners step into the scenario they studied. A mine-site intersection, an underground emergency, a pre-start.

This isn't a game. It's a controlled, realistic environment where learners apply knowledge in a realistic digital environment— without the consequences of getting it wrong on site.

Instructors can observe, assess, and debrief. Learners build confidence through practice, not just comprehension.

The eLearning gives them the knowledge. VR gives them the experience. And when they get to site for field-based verification, they're not applying new knowledge for the first time, they've already practised it.
