DJI Mavic 3 T Repair
Drone fell 60m to hard ground. Diagnostic showed one propeller ejected. If you have a light accident, always replace the propellers. The clips on the propellers crack and are difficult to spot. Eventually they will fail.

Mini 4 Pro water damage.
This week we got Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mavic 3 in for water damage assessment. All 3 were fixable.

Received a water-damaged Mini 4 Pro with no signs of life.

Inspection revealed a corrosion USB and sorted main board.

Started board-level diagnosis and repair process.

USB wasn't the only issue.

Board had water exposure, so complete ultrasonic cleaning was done first.

Even after cleaning, board was still shorting and RAM area was heating up heavily during power injection.

Water-damage repair is more than replacing a burnt component. Some parts are not available from DJI.

With corrosion cases, even microscopic mineral residue trapped under main BGA chips can lead to unstable behavior, overheating, shorts, or sudden failure later during flight.

As a precautionary repair process, main ICs and memory chips are removed, underlying tracks and pads are fully inspected, corrosion is cleaned at board level, and the chips are professionally reballed before reinstalling with fresh thermal paste.

The goal isn't just to make the drone power on it's to make sure it stays reliable in the air without unexpected failures mid-flight.X

How to deal with waterlogged drones
After a drone gets submerged in water, it can be saved using the following steps:
Emergency Handling
1. In a safe manner, retrieve the drone from the water as soon as possible
2. Power Off and Disassemble: Immediately turn off the drone's power and remove the battery to prevent short circuits from further damaging the device. If the battery shows signs of swelling or leakage, dispose safely.
3. Clean the Surface: Use a clean towel or paper towel to wipe off the moisture on the drone's surface to prevent water droplets from seeping deeper.
Cleaning and Drying
1. Internal Wiping: Use absorbent paper towels or cotton balls to gently wipe the moisture inside and outside the drone's body. For hard-to-reach areas, use a compressed air canister for cleaning
2. Soak and Rinse: If seawater it is recommended to rinse with a large amount of clean water to remove salt and other impurities.
3. Drying: Place the drone in a cool, ventilated area to air dry naturally, or use desiccants (such as silica gel packets) to speed up the drying process. Do not use high-temperature drying to avoid damaging the internal circuits.
Inspection and Repair
1. Comprehensive Inspection: After drying treatment, check if all connectors are clean and free of rust, and test each functional module one by one, such as the camera, ESC, Main board, etc. if any visual corrosion do not power on.
2. Professional Repair: If abnormalities are found, it is recommended to contact us for ultrasonic cleaning and a repair quote.
