Building on Country, Nurturing Knowledge

We are so proud of our bespoke artwork, Building on Country, Nurturing Knowledge, a visual story that depicts the work that CLV does - building on Country and making safe places for knowledge and language to be nurtured and exchanged. Where people come together to create, build, live, learn, celebrate and grow and connect to Country. Designed by artist Riki Salam in 2024, this artwork, reflects the journey of materials and minds as they navigate across this incredible land. Using tools to build, and knowledge that expands over time across land, sea and sky to grow.

The TPG Telecom RAP Artwork ‘Listening to Land – Connecting to Country’ was produced in 2021 through TPG Telecom’s first Reflect RAP, and is about listening to how the land and Country are communicating to us and how we respond. How do you listen to the land? How do you connect with Country, how does culture play a part in your life?

‘The Stronger ACCOS, Stronger Families Project was a two-year project supporting Aboriginal organisations at twelve locations across Australia to improve early childhood outcomes and strengthen the community controlled sector.’ We are 27 provided design to develop the supporting documents which included Partnership Guides and Plans for the organisations.

As the 2024 year ends we are looking at design projects that the team at we are 27 worked on. Through the continued relationship with TAFE Qld and the Indigenous Student Support Officers we helped to develop Applying Made Easy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People to assist on the journey to education through TAFE Qld. Resources include downloadable flyers, illustrations and design. Riki also developed a hand drawn typeface. We loved the sketch illustrations created by recent year 12 graduate and friend Leo @

We are 27 Creative Director and Artist Riki Salam was engaged by advertising agency, Dark Horses, London to develop the artwork that is utilised across the brand. World Rugby said, “the new Men’s RWC 2027 brand embodies Australia as a country of light and energy, reflecting the spirit of its people while celebrating its rich heritage and the diverse social and cultural fabric of the country.”

👏 This Queensland Mental Health Week encompassing World Mental Health Day, Brisbane North PHN congratulate Queensland Council for LGBTI Health - QC's Yarns Heal who today received the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples Award at the Open Minds 2024 Queensland Mental Health Week Achievement Awards.

🏅 The Awards celebrate organisations working tirelessly to reduce stigma and empower those living with mental illness. We are proud to have provided pilot funding and endorsement for the Yarns Heal program in our North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region to create a culturally safe space for our First Nations LGBTIQ+ communities to discuss and explore identity, relationships and social and emotional wellbeing.
