This year has been full of progress - delivering projects, sharing knowledge, and building stronger connections across our network. None of this would be possible without your support!

2025 in Adelaide is bigger and better than ever!

The conference hosted by the Australian Water Association continues to grow, with every major water utility in attendance and a strong focus on innovation. It was great to see the rising interest in geospatial technologies - particularly in asset management, environmental monitoring, and water quality applications.

We had some fantastic conversations with Sunwater, Seqwater, Urban Utilities, SA Water, South East Water, Yarra Valley Water and several others.

It was also great to connect with fellow tech enablers like Nearmap, Taggle Systems and TPG Telecom (Utilities).

We are grateful for the engaging discussions and new connections - and looking forward to growing these relationships in the months ahead.

What an inspiring evening! A huge thank you to Mark Covington and the team at Geoimage - tonight’s wouldn’t have happened without their generous support and sponsorship. Geoimage turned out in force, with at least half a dozen staff in the audience, which was fantastic to see.

We also welcomed guests from Woolpert Asia-Pacific who travelled up from Melbourne, along with many others who made the trip from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, and Caboolture.

Special thanks to Ben Gan for rallying his Esri Australia colleagues and bringing them along - it was great to see such strong support from them.

The speakers Armin Agha Karimi and Ramildo Passos were engaging, the presentations well received, and the audience came through with thoughtful, energetic questions.

Big thanks to the GIS People team for helping with setup and capturing some brilliant photos - we're looking at Yifan (Tim) Wu Ying Wang Maria Boing Zhiyuan Gan and Justine Gabrielle Razon - thanks for helping out!
