Founder life can be incredibly rewarding.

It can also be lonely, exhausting and a lot to carry.

A beautiful conversation with a client this week reminded me just how important it is to have the right people in your corner — the ones who listen, understand the vision, and help you find the energy to keep moving forward.

Sometimes, a good conversation (and a strong cuppa ☕️) is all it takes to reignite the spark.

Helping communities better understand and appreciate the value of water sounds simple.

Designing an experience that actually achieves it is something else entirely.

The Hunter Water H₂O Hub challenged us to translate complex water systems into an engaging, hands-on learning experience that could travel throughout the Hunter region.

Working alongside the team at Design Anthology, KO Studio developed the educational graphics and interactive learning experience, using illustration, storytelling and information design to bring the story of water to life.

Every element was designed to make the H₂O Hub engaging, memorable and accessible for audiences of all ages, from custom illustration and interpretive graphics to tactile, hands-on learning experiences.

It’s the kind of project I love most, where strategy, creativity and education come together to create something with lasting impact.
