What if a brand could make you want to visit a place that doesn’t even exist? 👀🍷

Meet LUMI, a fictional w**e & cocktail bar inspired by a weekend in the Dandenong Ranges.
For this identity, I wanted to capture that feeling of slow afternoons, good w**e and great company, with a little nostalgia and personality thrown in.

From the hand-drawn illustration and playful typography to the rich colour palette and branded applications, every element was thoughtfully designed to create a cohesive visual identity.

Good branding isn’t just about a logo. It’s about creating an entire experience that people remember.

Lumi ~ A fictional w**e & cocktail bar inspired by the beauty and charm of the Dandenong Ranges.

A little nostalgic, a little sophisticated, and full of personality.

I wanted to create a brand that felt warm, inviting and effortlessly cool. Somewhere you’d want to settle in for a glass of w**e and accidentally stay all afternoon.

Graphic designer red flags 🚩 from an actual graphic designer.

Hiring a designer shouldn’t just be about finding someone who can make things look pretty.
They should want to understand your business, your audience and what you’re actually trying to achieve before they start designing anything.

They should be able to explain why they’ve made certain creative decisions, create work that’s original to your business, and make sure you’re actually equipped with everything you need to use your brand once the project is finished.

You’re not just paying for a logo, you’re paying for the thinking, strategy and creative process behind it.
And if you’re investing in your business, you deserve more than something that just looks good.
