Hoot hoot! I’m Alison (people call me Al, sounds like Owl, get it!?). My name is Alison (people call me Al, sounds like Owl, get it!?).

A freelance graphic designer based in Coffs Harbour on the beautiful Mid North Coast, bringing creativity, experience, and organisation to every project I take on. I am a freelance Graphic Designer based on the beautiful Mid North Coast of Australia, in Coffs Harbour. Backed by years of industry experience across both graphic design and events, I bring creativity and organisation to every project I take on. I work with clients locally and right across Australia, as well as internationally. Whether it’s over coffee at a favourite Coffs café or from my sunlit home office surrounded by gumtrees, I’m ready to dive into your project. From regional businesses to overseas brands, I love helping people shape and refine their identity so it connects and lasts. When I’m not crafting visual delights, you’ll find me at the beach with my family. Community Involvement
I’m passionate about using my design skills to give back to the community. Over the years, I’ve volunteered countless hours creating branding, marketing collateral, and event materials for local clubs and organisations, helping them thrive and engage their communities. Organisations I have supported, both currently and in the past, include:

Kororo Public School P&C
Woolgoolga Swimming Club
Woolgoolga Athletics Club
Coffs Harbour Triathlon Club
The Coffs Harbour Soupie
Coffs Harbour Music Society
Coffs Harbour Running Festival – an iconic local event that raises thousands of dollars each year for charities across the Coffs Coast. I enjoy being part of my community and supporting groups that create such a positive impact. Volunteering my design skills lets me stay involved, contribute to the great community these organisations foster, and help them continue to grow and thrive.

👀 You might start spotting our Coffs Harbour Running Festival posters popping up around town!

As we start ramping up for this year's festival, we're spreading the word throughout the Coffs Coast.

If you own a business, have an office or shopfront, or know somewhere that would be happy to display one of our posters, we'd love your help! Every poster helps us reach more runners and grow the festival.

If you're happy to put one up, please get in touch at [email protected] and we'll organise one for you.

Thanks for helping us make the 2026 Coffs Harbour Running Festival our biggest one yet! 🏃🏃‍♀️💙

Thank you to Owl Design for the design and X-press Wraps & Signs for the printing! 🙌

I recently had the pleasure of designing a logo to support and complement the Coffs Harbour Women's Health Centre's Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain Clinic.
Such an important service for our community, and a privilege to help bring their visual identity to life.

A recent project for Symbiosis Dental Ceramics - logo design and branded collateral to create a clean, modern, and cohesive visual identity. Polished, precise and perfectly clean… just like their work. 😁🦷

I recently worked with Health Voyage to create an informational trifold brochure. It’s always a good reminder of how powerful clear, accessible design can be for any organisation. If your business needs a brochure that’s functional, appealing, and easy for your community to engage with, I’m here for it.

The Coffs Harbour Women's Health Centre have been celebrating 40 years of supporting, empowering, and caring for women across the Coffs Coast. From humble beginnings to a vital, trusted service for thousands, their commitment to inclusive, trauma‑informed, and culturally safe care is something truly special.

I had the honour of designing their 40‑year celebration logo and a trifold brochure marking this milestone. Community organisations like this make Coffs what it is, and it’s a privilege to play a small part in telling their story. 💜

Eight years of season brochures for the Jetty Memorial Theatre. Do you have a favourite?
Every year the brief is similar, promote an exciting new theatre season, but the design challenge is always different. New shows, new themes, new ways to bring it all together. Here’s a little throwback through eight years of covers and layouts.
