Square Sounds Presents: SoundBytes SoundBytes brings chip music to Melbourne SoundBytes is Australia’s longest running chipmusic show series.

Since October 2008, the team behind Australasia's biggest chiptune event, Square Sounds have been bringing beats inspired by and utilising console sound chips to Melbourne in smaller, bite sized chunks. During that time we have also co-presented shows all over Australia with folks like PAX Australia, Campbelltown Arts Centre (Pixel Sounds) and AVCON and even put on a showcase of Australian chip in

Tokyo! With over 20 shows under our belt and new chipartists from all over Australia (and the world!) showing up all the time; SoundBytes is the number one place for good times and cutting edge tunes from retrotech gear. We love to hear from new local artists, and chip performers traveling through Oz, just if you think you could take the stage for a half hour set, feel free to hit us up!
