Moving your WordPress site to a new host sounds like a job that ends with a broken site and a long night. It's usually a lot of waiting around instead.

A move is two jobs: copy the site across, then point your domain at the copy. You can test the copy at the new host before anyone sees it. The part people dread, changing DNS, is one line at your registrar.

What actually goes wrong in a move is rarely the site. Email is what gets lost. If your email lives with your current website host, check your MX records before you touch DNS.

We put the whole process in order, step by step. Read the full guide: https://wpzee.com/blog/move-wordpress-site-to-new-host/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=move-wordpress-site-to-new-host

Moving your WordPress site to a new host: how to copy the site, test it, and switch your domain over without breaking your email.

Microsoft fixed more than 1,400 bugs in a single day this week, its biggest security update yet.

That's why your laptop keeps asking to restart. September's update set the previous record at close to 1,000, and a normal month used to come in at about 100. What changed is what's finding the bugs. Microsoft's AI tools now read the code and turn up problems faster than any team of people could.

The same treadmill runs under your site. Plugins and themes keep getting their own updates, and letting them install is the boring and correct move.

Microsoft fixed more than 1,400 Windows flaws in one day, a record. Here is why AI is finding bugs faster and what it means for your PC.

ChatGPT grew buttons and charts last week.

OpenAI put GPT-6 in front of everyone and taught the chat to answer with a small interface built around the one question asked. A savings calculator. A chart you can drag. OpenAI calls it Intelligent UI.

We host websites, so we watch this closely. Chatbots already eat the top of search results. Now the answer can arrive with its own interface, and the pages that only explain things are first in line to lose readers.

Tell us where you stand: is a chatbot a competitor to your site, or a tool you use every day?

Freezers in about 400 French supermarkets hit 50 degrees on Monday. Nobody walked in to do that.

Hackers reached the controllers that run a store's cold aisles over the internet and told them to heat up and stay hot. Danfoss shipped a fix, but the units caught in the attack are old models that can't take it.

It reads like a story about fridges. The pattern underneath is the oldest one on the web: a machine reachable from the internet, running software nobody keeps up to date. An unpatched plugin gets a site taken over the same way.

Hackers heated fridges in hundreds of European supermarkets to 50 degrees. What happened, why old software is to blame, and what it means for you.

On Sunday the internet changed its keys. Only the second time ever.

The DNS root swapped its key-signing key from KSK-2017 to KSK-2024. That key is where DNSSEC starts, and every signed domain's answer traces back to it.

If resolvers hadn't trusted the new key, sites could go unreachable even while their servers were fine. That's why it went public in January 2025, giving resolvers 21 months to learn it. Most of us noticed nothing.

The boring outcome is the achievement. The root will move to post-quantum keys eventually, and rollovers like this are the rehearsal.

Tell us: where does your DNS live? Could you answer that without checking?
