Excited to share this branding project recently developed for the Stress Testing Regenerative Agricultural Practices (STRAP) project — a collaborative initiative led by the CSIRO and Ag Excellence Alliance exploring how regenerative farming systems can strengthen resilience across southern Australia’s grain-growing regions.

The brief was to create a visual identity that reflected the core principles of regenerative agriculture while remaining practical, professional and highly adaptable across project communications including reports, presentations, fact sheets and digital platforms.

The logo itself was designed to symbolise:
🌾 cereal crops and legumes to represent plant diversity
🌱 regenerative growth and biodiversity
🟫 layered soil profiles and healthy ground systems
🔄 interconnected agricultural systems and long-term resilience

The project combines credible science with practical on-farm knowledge to better understand how soil health, crop diversity and adaptive management practices can support productivity under increasingly variable climatic conditions.

A rewarding project to work on — balancing scientific credibility with an approachable and modern agricultural identity.

Led by Dr Mark Farrell from CSIRO and coordinated by Jade Rose and from Ag Excellence Alliance, this initiative is funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund Long Term Trials Program.
