Today we’ve got the team together for a lunch and learn (even though some are lunching at home!)

Starting off with a presentation from our amazing 'green team' on some exciting initiatives on reducing our impact on the environment including:

🗑 improved e-waste collection processes
🚮 new colour coded bins for recycling throughout the building
♻️ dedicated cardboard and paper recycling bins
🔌 reduction in electricity usage through clever timers and sensors

Followed by our quarterly presentation of 'Walk the Talk'. Our peer-nominated award for the person who has best represented IComm's values, and a huge congratulations to Gavin Payne for taking out the award!

About 50 Life Members, Coterie, and Sponsors enjoyed a fabulous Presidents Lunch at Panton Hill Hotel on Saturday. Gold104.3's Craig Huggins MC'd the event which opened with a few one-liners then Coach Simon Amore discussed keeping the players engaged last year and his hopes for 2021. Co Captains Mitch Anderson & Tim Duckworth spoke on behalf of the players giving an insight as to how the boys feel about their hopes in Division 2. Having also played for Lower Plenty Tim spoke about the synergy of the two clubs with many players having played for both, and our links to the Pat Cronin Foundation. A delicious meal was followed by Jason Dimmock telling a very funny and interesting story about how he became involved with the Redbacks, and eventually President. New sponsor Rob Dell of IComm Australia explained his cutting edge company, while Treasurer Marie Bailey sold tickets to the raffle which included great prizes from Diamond Valley Autocare, Penguin Drycleaners, Workin' Clobber and McDonald's. Huggy invited Rick West of Lower Plenty Football & Netball Club to draw the raffle and noted that Rick could do his own radio program.... the "Rickwest Show". Thanks to everyone that attended, it was a great way to start the day before heading to the footy.

Another quarter, another and celebration of , where we get to celebrate the people that make it possible to deliver the great service we strive to provide. Well done to all the nominees this quarter, but big kudos to Greg Macdonald!

A long-time IComm employee, "Macca" has been diligently working behind the scenes to ensure that we secured not one, but TWO ISO Certifications in the last two years.
