Photographer and videographer Martin Abolins () used the new Sumo PRO‑19 to monitor the 2Pro1Slow podcast recording, hosted by professional motocross and enduro riders Tommy Searle and Billy Bolt, alongside their friend Ed Warren. Sumo’s 4K HDR display and touch‑screen tools, including touch‑to‑focus and start/stop record, helped Martin stay on top of what was happening throughout the session.

AtomOS 12.7.4 free firmware update introduces a new ‘F-Log2 C Eterna’ gamma option for Ninja RAW, Ninja TX GO, Ninja TX, Shogun AV-19, and Sumo Pro-19, complete with a dedicated EL Zone™ false colour table calibrated specifically for GFX ETERNA 55 cameras.

The update also adds F-Log2 C/F-Gamut C loop-out options for Fujifilm RAW, making it easier to monitor exposure accurately and integrate ETERNA into professional on-set workflows.

The team at Speed Motion Films used Shinobi alongside the Sony FX6 and Sony G Master 70–200mm F2.8 to capture Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026 in Belfast, the world’s largest celebration of traditional Irish music, song, dance and culture.

Across eight demanding days of filming, the larger 7‑inch Shinobi screen made it much easier to monitor shots while moving quickly between performances and large crowds. Its sharp display, lightweight build and exposure tools helped the team work effectively throughout one of their busiest events of the year.

Scott Robinson () is a Norwich-based filmmaker who focuses on fitness and sports content, shooting with a Sony FX3 and a Shinobi monitor. Before filmmaking, Scott spent 12 years working as a personal trainer - a background that still influences the projects he takes on today. The Shinobi's EL Zone feature has become a core part of his setup, giving him accurate exposure on every shoot.
