Cider House Tech Find out what is going on at C***r House Tech and let us know what is happening in your science classroom.

C***r House Tech is proudly the sole Australian distributor for PASCO Scientific. When PASCO introduced the Millikan Oil Drop Apparatus in 1964, there was one word to describe it: 'Innovative'. In the following 40 years PASCO has continued to innovate, introducing products that have made traditional experiments more quantitative and labs teachers only dreamed could be practical in their classrooms

. PASCO'S low friction dynamics carts allow students around the world to study Newton's laws of motion, while PASCO probeware, with its Pure Digital design and MultiMeasure, continues to lead the field in innovation. The broad base of PASCO'S educational offerings is further enhanced by additional partnerships with other leading developers including ImagiNova Astronomy Software, Asylum Assessment Software, Apple Computers, HP and more. Students at all levels and in every domain of science should have the opportunity to use scientific inquiry and develop the ability to think and act in ways associated with inquiry. As educators ourselves, we share your commitment not only to helping students achieve science literacy but also to inspiring in your students the same excitement that you have for science. All of PASCO'S products are designed and developed in conjunction with practising teachers and supported by teachers.

We're heading to conASTA 73—and we can't wait to see you there!

If you're attending, come and say hello—we're looking forward to demonstrating some great products and would love to chat about how we can help support your school’s science and STEM program.

May the 4th Be With You,
Unlock the power of the FORCE… with a little help from modern technology (and maybe a few Jedi mind tricks).

PASCO's advanced Force Sensor is capable of simultaneously measuring force, acceleration, and rotational velocity—giving you everything you need to explore motion like a true Jedi. Ready to train your padawans? Discover the PASCO range of force and acceleration sensors designed to bring science concepts to life

Force & Acceleration Sensors

Force and acceleration sensors are versatile tools that measure force and key aspects of motion. They are widely used in physics, engineering, and other physical sciences to investigate real-world phenomena.

With these sensors, students can explore concepts such as position, pushing and pulling forces, acceleration, angular velocity, impulse, and momentum. In dynamics labs, they’re especially useful for testing structural stress and recording harmonic frequencies.

Bring the Force into your classroom—and help your students master it.

Today is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Celebrated each year on 11 February since 2015, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science highlights and celebrates the role of women and girls in STEM with the goal of inspiring and engaging others, and improving gender equality in the scientific environment.

Australia’s first Astronaut
2026 Australian of the Year, Astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg

In high school, when asked to write down three different career options, Katherine only wrote down one – astronaut – and refused to add any others.

‘If I may be allowed another dream beyond being an astronaut, it’s this that we bring that same ‘give it a go’ spirit from the sports field to the STEM fields, backing each other and ourselves with the trust that we can do hard, important things’.
Katherine Bennell-Pegg

Today is a great opportunity to encourage students to explore STEM pathways, challenge stereotypes, and recognise that curiosity, creativity, and innovation know no gender.
