Waykat Services were contracted by our ever supportive supplier Telco Antennas to install & commission an Optus 4G/4G+ mobile broadband installation for one of their existing corporate clients in the Bendigo region so that they were able to use their already existing corporate network VPN to securely communicate with their head office.

On top of the Antennas serviceable 3 metre galvanized mast we attached 1 x Telco Antennas XPOL MiMO Panel Antenna – 3G, 4G & 4GX / 4G+– 700-2700MHz to capture the best signal possible, 2 x Phaseblocker N Male to Female Lightning Arrester – up to 6GHz and 2 x 10 metre LCU400 Coaxial Cables N Male to SMA Male.

The construction of this warehouse is mostly concrete & steel, which meant it was acting as a Faraday Cage as most warehouses do.

As with all of our installations, we conducted an exhaustive, comprehensive & very technical site survey prior to the installation, so that we would know exactly what was needed to be done to ensure that the client received the best possible signal.

This meant that we knew exactly where to place the mast so as to use the smallest amoutn of cable possible to reach their communications room where the RUT240 infrastructure was placed.

Our team were able to place the mast directly above the communications room so we were then able to drop the cabling directly through the corrugated tin roof, making sure it was correctly waterproofed. We were then able to connect our cabling directly into the client’s existing Teltonika RUT240

This was a great installation with a great speed test result, check out the digi pics, ensuring that both Telco Antennas and their client were happy with the finished result.

Good evening all.

Well the time has come to tell you all about some exciting news about Waykat Services P/L

18 months ago, the opportunity arose for Waykat Services to acquire another communications & telecommunications infrastructure company. As this was during the covid lock down period and due to circumstances beyond our control, the acquisition process has taken longer than originally expected.

The new company has continued to trade in the background, under the direction of Waykat Services, whilst the finer details were sorted out, with our accountant, business adviser, digital marketing & business branding specialist, to enable a smooth integration and transition.

We can now take the covers off and announce that Waykat Services P/L have acquired and taken full control of Essential Communications Services, including all assets outright.

Some clients & suppliers will continue to deal with Waykat Services for the time being, however the bulk of existing and the majority of new clients will be transitioned to Essential Communications Services.

This all new site has already gone live and will be constantly updated with exciting news and developments, including projects of interest as they are completed & new infrastructure as & when it becomes available.

Waykat Services have retained Essential Communications Services Roma office in South Western QLD. This office is fully operational immediately whilst we investigate opening a fully staffed Central NSW office to look after our current and future NSW clients. Stay tuned for more news on that in the next couple of months.
