The Role
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable IT operations.
β’ Monitor system performance and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimise downtime.
β’ Implement backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, security controls, monitor security events, and perform remediation activities.
β’ Administer cloud environments, hosted services, and business applications in line with client requirements and SLAs.
β’ Visit customer sites as required.
β’ Maintain and update system software for stable performance.
β’ Provide L1βL3 technical support for servers, workstations, and communication systems.
β’ Prepare and maintain documentation including configurations, procedures, and security guidelines.
β’ Liaise with vendors, service providers, and stakeholders to implement solutions and recommend system improvements.
Key Requirements
β’ 2β3 yearsβ experience, including at least 2 years as a System Administrator or similar role within Manufacturing, Warehousing, or FMCG industries.
β’ Minimum 1 year experience in an MSP environment.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Networking, or related field.
β’ Microsoft certifications: MS-900, MD-102, and SC-300.
β’ Valid driverβs licence with ability to travel to customer sites in Mulgrave and Dandenong 3β4 days per week and attend Docklands office on other days.
β’ Experience with Service Desk Ticketing Systems and handling L1βL3 support requests.
β’ Strong skills in network configuration, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Salary
$89,600 β $100,800 per annum inclusive of superannuation.
