CURNOW WASNT A BRAVE HERO - HE WAS A LYING POS ACCORDING TO STUART ROWSELL
Thomas Curnows extraordinary bravery at the Glenrowan siege has been universally celebrated for 145 years. He and his family were imprisoned by Ned Kelly in the Glenrowan Inn, where Curnow learned to his horror that Kelly was planning to wreck an expected trainload of police, and kill or take hostages any survivors. Curnow decided to try to stop this slaughter, and over many hours successfully tricked Kelly into believing he wasnt a threat, and into letting him go. In quite realistic fear for his life, he then ran up the line in the dead of night with a candle and red silk scarf and quite remarkably managed to flag down the train and sabotage Kellys plan for a mass murder.
Gullible fools who have fallen for Stuart Rowsells conspiracy theorist garbage abut Glenrowan - people like the sanctimonious police hater Jack Peterson for example - are staying silent about what Rowsells view is about Curnow. Rowsell believes all the lies in Kellys Condemned Cell letter, including the one in which Kelly says it was HIS idea to send Curnow to stop the train…so he could collect the reward! Who knew???
What that would mean, if true, is that all Curnows testimony, given under oath to the Royal Commission, were lies designed to conceal the truth about what he did - which was to do Kellys bidding so he could get reward money.
I wonder when Peterson and Bob and all the other fanatical Kelly nutjobs out there are going to start correcting the record, and declaring their contempt for the cowardly liar Thomas Curnow? That will be a very popular claim I am sure….
