✨ AIBUILD CEO Yifei Wang is honoured to have been invited last month as a guest speaker and panel judge at the Corporate Insight & Empowerment (CIE 11.0) finals, organised by the Malaysian Student Council of Australia (MASCA) - VIC Chapter.

Yifei was truly impressed by the exceptional calibre of the participants. The depth of critical thinking, business acumen, and dedication they demonstrated was remarkable, from late-night team discussions that stretched to 2am and 4am, to the champion team that engaged nearly 10 Malaysian banks and conducted dozens of user consultations within just one week. Their persistence and professionalism were beyond what one would typically expect at a student level.

What stood out most was not just the quality of the solutions but also the courage to challenge assumptions, the creativity to push boundaries, and the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and confidence. These students exemplify what it means to step beyond comfort zones, and it is no exaggeration to say that among them are the future leaders, innovators, and changemakers of our industries.

Yet more importantly, congratulations to every participant who embraced this journey with resilience, courage, and determination. Honoured and proud to announce that AIBUILD's project CaptureLive won the Internation Prize award at the City of Melbourne Open Innovation Competition. 

First launched in 2018, the Open Innovation Competition is the City of Melbourne's annual challenge to solve a city issue. The competition calls for innovators, entrepreneurs, students and community members to submit their bright ideas to solve the challenge. It is designed to tap into the creativity and expertise of our community, and stimulate new ideas and effective solutions.
