Never 👏 stop 👏 experimenting

So much of my work is trialling new processes and techniques to create the best possible outcome, which forever keeps my job interesting!

I have just experimented with creating a typeface using the same stylisation as the typography seen within my logo, what do we think? I'm a little obsessed with it...

Illustration designs pt2 ✏️ 🐰

Can you tell I've been into drawing bunnies a bit recently 😂

I don't love every illustration I produce, and this is a good example of that. I wasn't obsessed with this outcome but instead of dwelling over it I put my pencil away and analysed what I did right and wrong.

I learn something from every outcome I make, regardless whether I like it or not!

Illustration designs ✏️ 🐰

As I've been getting back into the groove of illustration I've been trying out some alternative art styles!

Trying different approaches and methods to my illustration work really provides me with the creative outlet I've needed as of recent. Still trying to find my groove of what works for me when it comes to my illustrations!

Happy Easter Sunday!

How cute is this bunny I drew a little while back, and what perfect time to post her than for Easter? As much as I love drawing customised people, it was a nice challenge to try and draw an animal in my style.

Perhaps she will make more of a feature in future 🤔

Guess who's started Illustrating again!

I've been trying to get back into the groove of drawing as I find it's still one of my favourite things to do as a designer. I'm loving this type of style at the moment!

Not sure why but I really do enjoy drawing characters with angry expressions 😂

FUNCTION PACK DESIGN 3/3

Being able to stick to brand guidelines and utilise provided imagery in an effective way is one of the most important parts of my job, and this function pack is a great example of how this is done.

This outcome was easily one of my favourites, and I'm keen to explore these kinds of projects further in future.

After a year missing from posting on this account some of you might be wondering, where the hell have I been?

For the past year I have been on and off freelancing, only taking a slight break whilst on a 3 month contract with another business. Whilst it was great experience, I did miss freelancing much more than I thought I ever would. It made me realise it was what I wanted to do full time, so for the next 6 months I worked hard on client projects and built myself up to the point where I realise a change of style and a focus on social media was much needed.

And here we are today! Still getting the hang of posting more often but I'm more than happy to be back in action 🤩
