The rising cost of living and housing crisis has deeply impacted some of the most vulnerable in our community. One of those people was Greg—a valued customer who, through difficult circumstances, found himself without a place to call home.
Even in the midst of it all, Greg still needed to stay connected. So together, we found a small way to help. We guided him to redeem his Telstra Plus Points for two Cygnett 20,000mAh solar power banks—at no cost. But we knew that wasn’t enough. Without a reliable place to charge them, those devices would only go so far.
So we made a simple promise: every day Greg came by, we would fully charge one power bank for him. He’d swap it over and head back out, knowing he had a way to stay connected to the world. For months, we saw Greg almost every day—those small moments becoming something meaningful for all of us.
Today, things are different. Greg now has a place to call home.
And while what we did may seem small, being able to support someone through such a difficult time, to offer a little stability and connection when it mattered most—that’s something we carry with pride.
