Something a little different from my usual Australian wildlife… 🦕

Introducing my new Aussie Dino illustration!

Dinosaurs have been my son's absolute favourite since he was tiny. He might only be 2, but the excitement when he sees a dinosaur is next level!

This piece was inspired by him. I wanted to create something that connects his love for dinos with my love for illustrating Australian nature.

It’s been such a fun journey researching the incredible dinosaurs that once roamed Australia millions of years ago. Imagining these giants walking on the same land we live on now is just amazing.

It’s a little different from my usual birds and native wildlife, but it’s created with the same love and detail.

I hope you enjoy this one as much as Master L does 💛

This year looked a little different for me I did less drawing and stepped back from markets, simply because life as a busy mum needed more of me.

But I'm really glad I slowly shifted my business focus to wholesale. I took part in a trade show in August, saw a lovely boost in my Faire sales, and launched new bookmarks and magnet sets - which have become some of my most popular items. 🐨

It wasn't a loud or busy year online, but it was a meaningful one behind the scenes. 💚

Next year, I'm excited to create more new artworks and products and bring fresh ideas to life.

I’m back! ✨ After a lovely little break, it feels so good to be back in the studio — and what better way to ease back in than with these two lovebirds? 💖🐦

This pencil sketch has been sitting in my sketchbook for a while now, and it’s finally their turn to get the watercolour treatment. Two cuddly cockatoos, side by side — because Aussie love stories deserve a little spotlight too!
