The replacement has arrived. 👀

After draining the existing loop, it was time to bring in the new RTX 5080.

But this isn't going straight into the water loop just yet.

Before a brand-new GPU gets dismantled and fitted with a water block, I want to know that it works perfectly in its original form.

So the first step is simple:

Unbox it.
Install it.
Test it.

Only once I'm happy that everything is working as it should will I take the factory cooler off and begin the water-block conversion.

And that's where this upgrade gets interesting... 🔧💧

Would you take apart a brand-new RTX 5080 to water-cool it?

👇 Yes — absolutely
👇 No way — I'm keeping that warranty intact 😂

Next up: testing the 5080 before the teardown.

Step 1: Draining the loop. 💧

How should we drain a complex loop?

Before anything could be removed from this machine, the custom water-cooling loop had to be drained safely.

With a complex loop like this, it isn't always as simple as opening a drain valve and letting the coolant out. I first had to work out the best points to attach the drain hoses and carefully drain the system.

Once the loop was empty, the real teardown could begin. 🔧

Next up: removing the existing GPU and preparing the system for the RTX 5080 upgrade. 👀

**I've been a little quiet for the past week... and this is why. 👀**

A customer brought in a custom water-cooled PC for a major GPU upgrade, and what initially sounded straightforward quickly turned into a much bigger project.

Their existing RX 7900 XTX had been randomly black-screening, so the plan was to replace it with an RTX 5080.

But this new GPU wasn't simply going straight into the PC.

Before it could become part of the custom loop, there was testing to do, a complete teardown ahead, a water block to install and the entire system to put back together.

And that's exactly what I've been working on. 🔧💧

Over the next few posts, I'll take you through the whole process — from the original problem, to testing the RTX 5080, tearing it down, installing the water block and finally revealing the completed machine.

**This one was worth the wait. 👀**

This is where things got interesting. 👀

The customer wanted to take the build further — and this time, it wasn't just about adding more performance.

We changed the GPU to a vertical mount and brought the RAM into the custom water-cooling loop.

Yes… the RAM is water-cooled. 💧

Getting everything to work together meant rethinking the layout, planning the tubing around the new configuration and making sure the finished loop still looked clean and intentional.

What started as another upgrade quickly turned into a completely different level of customisation.

And we're still not at the final result…

The finished build is coming Friday. 🔥

They came back… with an even better idea. 👀

This build was already a pretty serious custom water-cooled system.

But the owner came back and asked:

“What if we took it even further?”

So we did. 😏

The next upgrade completely changed the look of the build — and added some custom water-cooling work that you don't see on most PCs.

This was one of those projects where the question wasn't “Can we do it?”

It was “How far can we take it?”

And this was only the beginning…

More of this build coming Wednesday. 👀

Every custom build has a story.

This one started with a returning customer who wanted to take an already great system and make it even better.

After countless hours of planning, tube bending, testing and fine tuning, this was the final result.

Whether you're after a clean gaming PC or a fully custom water-cooled showcase, every build at Sudsterr Technology is designed around the customer—not an assembly line.

Thanks again for trusting us with another project!

Anyone can see the finished PC.

What many people don't see is the attention that goes into every small detail.

✔ Clean tube routing
✔ Consistent bends
✔ Cable management
✔ Carefully positioned fittings
✔ Balanced component layout

These are the little things that take the most time—but they're also what transforms a custom PC into something truly special.

Which detail catches your eye first?

Sometimes the best projects don't end... they evolve.

After completing a custom water-cooled PC for this customer, they came back with another idea.

Not a repair.

Not a replacement.

An upgrade that would take the build to the next level.

This was the beginning of the next chapter.

Over the next few posts, I'll be sharing how we transformed an already unique custom loop into something even more ambitious.

Stay tuned... 👀

The finished result.

Every custom PC has a story.

This one started with an existing gaming PC, a conversation about what the customer wanted to achieve, and a vision that gradually took shape through careful planning and countless hours of work.

From selecting the right components to bending hardline tubing, leak testing and bringing the loop to life, every stage was part of creating a system that was uniquely theirs.

Seeing the finished build is always rewarding—but this project wasn't over just yet...

The customer returned with an even bigger idea, and this PC would soon undergo another major transformation.

That's a story for the next post. 😉

From concept to reality. ✨

What started as an existing gaming PC had now been completely transformed into a custom hardline water-cooled system.

Every bend, every fitting and every component was carefully planned to create a build that not only performs well, but looks the part too.

Seeing the finished system powered on for the first time makes all the hours of planning and building worthwhile.

But here's the interesting part...

This project didn't end here. The customer came back with even bigger ideas, and this build would continue to evolve.

Stay tuned... 😉
