What You’ll Do:

Administrative Duties
• Co-ordinate daily business activities to ensure organisational objectives are met.
• Assist clients with a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and care.
• Ensure clients requests are directed to the correct team member for attention.
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls.
• Recording keeping and data management.
• Manage company supplies including stationery and staff amenities.
• Assist the Director/Engineer with travel and accommodation bookings.
• Process time billing, invoicing, and statements.
• Process creditor and debtor billing and bank account reconciliation.
• Inventory management and product ordering.
• Create, update and maintain company documentation and procedures.
• Contracts administration for hosting and managed service agreements.
• Liaise with customers to ensure customer satisfaction including after service follow-up.
• Assist with sales quoting of new computers and information technology equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and take meeting minutes.
• Update HR documentation and procedures as required to comply with relevant legislation.
Service Desk Co-ordination
• Co-ordinate the service team to ensure jobs are allocated to maximise responsiveness and efficiency.
• Generate service tickets for clients calling our helpdesk.
• Book in incoming repair work and ensure it is accurately tagged for identification.
• Monitor all incoming service tickets and allocate to the appropriate technical resource.
• Successfully prioritise service calls based on ITIL Framework guidelines.
• Manage the dispatch calendars of multiple technical staff to ensure calls are responded to within SLA timings.
• Re-schedule jobs as needed and liaise with clients to ensure they are updated of any change.
• Provide first level support as needed and take escalation measures as required.
• Assist with monthly server maintenance as required.

You Will Have:
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role.
• A Certificate III or higher in Business Administration.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
• An eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• A high proficiency in all Microsoft applications and Xero Accounting Software.
• Knowledge in basic bookkeeping including creditor and debtor maintenance.
• A basic/sound understanding of Information Technology systems and technical issues that can arise.
• The ability to manage multiple team members calendars, including job scheduling and appointments.
• The ability to schedule incoming service calls based on their priority.
• A current drivers license.

You Will Be Highly Regarded If You Have:
- Administration experience
- Tafe/Uni degree in Business

BREAKING: Major power outage blacks out thousands of homes & businesses.

A large scale power outage across southeast Queensland has left around 375,000 customers without power on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan and parts of the Sunshine Coast.

A major transmission problem is believed to have caused the outage.

Energex and Powerlink are currently investigating the problem but are unable to give a timeframe for when power might be restored.

***Update, 9.18am: Microsoft advised it had "identified the root cause and are applying a fix, which will reach affected users over the next three to four hours.

"Users will need to restart the Outlook client to apply the fix after it's received. We expect to restore service to affected users by May 12, 2021, at 3:00 AM UTC [1pm AEST]."***

'Microsoft Outlook hit by worldwide 'email visibility issues'

Microsoft said that Outlook is suffering “email visibility issues”, with widespread reports of text disappearing after being entered into a new message, and of existing messages having no body text at all.

There was no ETA on an official fix or explanation at the time of publication.
