💻Dillon – Assistant Manager / Senior Computer Technician
💬What you do & Why you love it?
My passion for technology began in Year 8 when I successfully repaired my virus-infected laptop on my own. That experience sparked a journey into repairing phones, tablets, and computers while completing my university degree and later working as a Tech Bar Technician at Telstra.
Nearly five years ago, I joined Circuit Tree as a repair technician, but since then I have since progressed into an administrative and leadership role, helping to oversee the team and supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Guided by my grandfather’s advice to pursue work you enjoy, I’m fortunate to say that much of my career—especially my time with the Circuit Tree family—has never felt like work.
🤔What part of your job do you love most?
I think it’s the fact that I never quite know what I’m going to be working on! While I’ve moved into a more senior and admin-focused role, I still oversee our technicians and stay involved with the technical side of things. Technology is constantly evolving, and I love that we can bounce ideas off each other to find the best solution for our customers. There’s always something new to learn, so no two days are ever the same!

⚙️Hobbies/Interests: Funnily enough if I am not tinkering with technology at work, I’m normally tinkering at home…. Other than that, you’ll normally find me binging TV series or enjoying family time with my wife and son.
