π΅ PAY CASH AT CIRCUIT TREE AND SAVE 2% FROM 1 OCTOBER
We wanted to explain this properly, because you deserve more than a new sign on the counter.
From 1 October 2026, new RBA rules mean businesses can no longer add a surcharge to most card payments. That's good news for customers, and we're glad to see it. π
But we want to be honest with you.
The cost of accepting cards hasn't gone away. Every tap still comes with a processing fee, and as a small business, we feel every one of them.
π΅ From 1 October, pay with cash and save 2%.
β
Our marked prices are the price, with no card surcharge
β
Pay cash and get 2% off your purchase or repair
β
Card payments are still 100% welcome
Why this matters to us
We opened Circuit Tree in 2020 because Mareeba deserved a local place to get their tech sorted. We're a local family. We were born here, we live here, shop here and raise our kids here.
Every cent we save on fees becomes cash spent locally, with local suppliers, local tradies and our own team. It stays right here where it belongs, instead of going to the banks.
Cash is king! ππ΅
Thank you for backing us. We don't take a single customer for granted. π
