Graphic Design 〰️
Design was a part of my identity for years, and while it still is but in a different way.. I’ve had to learn to say no even if it means letting people down.

I’ve had some questions about if I am doing any graphic design work or taking on any projects. The honest truth is no I’m not, between doing some work for my families business, raising a 3.5 year old all day and everyday, and creating for my own embroidery and art…client design work is something I no longer offer.

I am grateful for what my design journey created for me. So many opportunities, connections with many beautiful local businesses and friendships that I may have never had prior. But now I’m finding peace in creating in a whole new way, gardening and accepting my new identity is no longer tied to being a designer〰️

Taking a little moment to appreciate my Lavender design printed on a Flax coloured linen tea towel. The change in the colour of material changes the entire feel of the design and I am so happy with it 🙌🏼

These were printed up for a wholesale order heading out to New South Wales 〰️

Banana and date muffins. A simple and wholesome treat baked fresh for the week ahead.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup organic self raising flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup organic rolled oats
1 cup of medjool dates
1/2 cup milk (this recipe was made with almond milk for dairy free)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas

STEPS
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees (fan forced)
- Soak dates in warm/hot water for 10 minutes, drain, remove pips and chop.
- Mash banana, add all wet ingredients to banana mash, mix well.
- Add sifted flour, cinnamon and salt to wet ingredients, mix until incorporated.
- Add chopped dates and stir in
- Add oats and stir until just combined
- Spoon mix evenly into muffin tray (this recipe should make 9 medium muffins)
- Bake for 17-20 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean.

This wholesome recipe is dairy free and can be shared with the family for a delicious afternoon tea.

These beautiful featured friends foraging on the side of the road… thankfully not a busy road, but they were still a little tricky to spot.

I have a just a few Slow Down For Our Wildlife car decals still available. I haven’t sent off for a reprint yet, it might still be on the cards as raising awareness for our wildlife and donating the proceeds back to charity is something very important to me that I hope to continue.
