A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of once again being invited back to speak with the newest 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙐𝙥 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙩 participants. Branding's so much more than a logo – it’s the heart, voice and personality of a business. And it was great speaking about intentional design and strong brand foundations with these amazing start-ups.

We’re so fortunate to have programs like this in place and to be part of such a fabulously supportive local business community.

A big thank you to City of Mandurah, IPS - Business Advisory, and SBDC Regional - Peel for delivering such an impactful program and equipping new local entrepreneurs with the tools, confidence and connections they need.

Off to Sydney for a week of work, meetings and creative catch-ups.

I’ll be spending time with the fab Amazon Underwriting team and catching up with a few other Sydney clients too – lots of conversations, planning and collaboration ahead (and hopefully a few coffees & wines along the way ☕🥂).

Feeling very grateful that this little biz of mine gets to travel, connect and keep creating magic with such great humans. Sydney, here I come ✨

✨ As the year winds down, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to my wonderful clients, collaborators and colleagues for another year of trust, creativity and meaningful collaboration.

I’ll be working through most of the holiday season, before a short break from 8–25 January while I head to Vic to spend some precious time with my Ma & fambam 💚

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe, restful and joy-filled festive season.

✨ Super excited to share this!

Amazon Underwriting have just introduced me as their long-time creative partner - and I’m thrilled to be continuing this collaboration in a more official capacity.

I’ve been designing for AU since 2016 (yep, that logo, the brochures, the merch… all the bits and pieces behind the scenes!), and I’ve worked with two of their key team members for over 20 years. It’s a partnership built on trust, great communication and a whole lot of mutual respect.

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙖 – 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙣𝙜-𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧

We’re excited to officially introduce Dani Musicka of Designed By Magic, who is collaborating with Amazon Underwriting to support our e-communications, social media management, and graphic design needs.

Dani’s work may already look familiar, and there’s a reason for that; she created our logo back in 2016, along with many of the marketing materials, product brochures and merchandise you've seen over the years. Her creative fingerprints have been part of our brand since day one.

Dani also brings a 20-year working relationship with a couple of our key AU team members, including our Director – a creative partnership that’s definitely stood the test of time.

We’re thrilled to continue this collaboration and look forward to the fresh ideas, strategic communications, and creative polish Dani brings to the AU team. Welcome aboard (officially), Dani! 👋

It’s – so let’s talk about what most people 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 see.

I live with several invisible disabilities. You wouldn’t know it just by looking at me – and that’s both a blessing 𝘢𝘯𝘥 a curse.

Because while I’ve built two great businesses and continue to “show up” with joy and purpose, I’ve also encountered plenty of people – employers, colleagues, friends, and even family – who decided that because they couldn’t see it, it doesn’t exist.

I’ve even lost jobs because of it.
Not because I couldn’t do the work – but because some people couldn’t see past their own assumptions and biases.

Here’s the truth:
⭐ Invisible doesn’t mean imaginary.
⭐ Strong doesn’t mean “not struggling.”
⭐ Success doesn’t mean “pain-free.”

Yeah, I might need to do things a little differently sometimes – I pace myself, I adapt, I find my own rhythm. But I still show up. I still get it done. Just differently. And that’s okay.

What’s not okay is ignorance or bias. It’s 2025 – we 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 better, so we should 𝘥𝘰 better.

It costs nothing to listen, learn, and lead with empathy. It costs everything to constantly prove your worth to people who refuse to understand.

To everyone living with invisible disabilities: I see you. I get it. And I’m proud of the strength it takes us to keep showing up and living on our own terms. 💜

To everyone else: believe people when they tell you what they’re experiencing. You don’t need to see it to respect it.

Here’s to awareness, compassion, and a world where kindness isn’t optional – it’s expected. 💫
