Accessibility maturity is a structured process, and knowing where you stand today is what makes the next step possible.

Our recent blog, "Maturity Models Matter: Moving from Education to Ex*****on," breaks down how to identify where you're at, find your path forward, and move down it.

Inside, you'll find the Digital Maturity Scale, a four-level framework from Inactive to Optimised, showing you exactly where your organisation stands today and what the next stage actually requires.

We've also included A 7-Step Digital Maturity Roadmap, covering everything from executive commitment and ecosystem audits to embedding accessibility into delivery workflows and continuous measurement.

You can't improve what you haven't measured. Access the full blog to find your starting point: https://www.grackledocs.com/en/maturity-models-matter-moving-from-education-to-execution/

Accessible digital services work better for everyone. When organisations build with this in mind, the results are clearer, easier to navigate, and more useful across the board.

A WCAG audit is where that understanding becomes practical. Our latest knowledgebase article walks through the process step by step, written for Australian and New Zealand organisations ready to make meaningful progress in digital accessibility.

Under updated compliance frameworks, organisational risk extends far beyond the surface URL.

It encompasses the entire interconnected ecosystem of embedded AI chatbots, secure customer portals, biometric authentication flows, third-party SaaS integrations, and high-volume document pipelines that users interact with daily.

Because accessibility standards cannot be outsourced, organisations effectively inherit the compliance gaps of the third-party vendors they choose to deploy.

Our recent blog highlights the most common compliance blind spots and provides a structured framework for digital oversight. The piece features five critical verification questions your procurement and IT governance teams should actively demand from external vendors before signing contracts.

Australia has become a frontrunner for digital inclusion with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the benchmark, and with higher standards comes a higher bar for digital maturity.

The old "she'll be right" approach to digital accessibility won't cut it anymore. Government services, health, education and transport are under the most scrutiny right now, but the standard applies across the board, websites, apps, and PDFs included.

This is an opportunity for organisations to move up the accessibility maturity scale and build inclusion into the way they work.
