🔍 We posted about this vehicle a week ago and here is the conclusion. 👻👻

This vehicle was recently traded to a dealership with a fully operational Ghost immobiliser and a working customer PIN.

However, as the vehicle was supplied without the Customer Emergency Card and emergency override PIN, the dealership made the responsible decision to have the Ghost removed before selling the vehicle.

The dealership and its subcontracted installer spent approximately TWO WEEKS dismantling the vehicle and searching for the Ghost—without success.

We were then asked to assist.

Using our specialised diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge, we located the Ghost in approximately 30 MINUTES.

Importantly, our equipment cannot be used to locate a Ghost unless the customer provides a VALID PIN. This vital security safeguard prevents our technology from being used to locate or defeat a Ghost without the owner’s authorisation.

This is exactly why a properly installed Ghost is so difficult to find—and why your Emergency Card must always remain safely stored and available.

🚨 **CANOPY ALARM OPTIONS – WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU?** 🚨

We get a lot of questions about the best way to protect a **ute canopy**, and generally there are **two main options**:

🔐 **OPTION 1 – INTEGRATED VEHICLE & CANOPY ALARM**
The canopy is protected as part of an UPGRADE alarm system and operates from the **factory remote**.

Canopy doors can be monitored using:
✅ Door switches
✅ Wireless sensors

This is the **most convenient option** because locking and unlocking the vehicle also arms and disarms the canopy protection.

💰 **OPTION 2 – STAND-ALONE CANOPY ALARM**
If you only want to protect the canopy, we can install a completely independent alarm system.

This is generally a **lower-cost option**, but it requires a **separate remote**. If wireless movement sensors are used, the system will also need to be disarmed before driving the vehicle.
