Hunter ICT Pty Ltd Computer Support, Supply and Repairs Hunter ICT is a locally owned computer business located in the Hunter Valley and based in the Maitland area.

Specialising in computer support, supply and repairs, we provide the help for your home or small business. We offer both onsite and in workshop repairs, as well as over the phone and remote support.

Restrictions are continuing to ease across NSW, and we are committed to looking after both your safety, and our team's safety as we work at returning to normal trade.

We're a local Hunter Valley business, and so we feel its important to base this process on how well Maitland and the Hunter Valley is progressing.

While this happens, we will still be limiting the number of staff present at the same time in our workshop, so we will continue to require bookings for all drop off and pickups. These spots consistently fill up quickly however, so please don't hesitate to contact us to make your appointment!

We will also continue to carry out phone and remote support, along with our normal business support.

Unfortunately, we will not be carrying out onsite residential support just yet, or face to face support at the workshop. Our shop will remain as a pickup and drop off only service for now.

We're grateful for everyone's support and understanding over the last few months, and look forward to the big months to come.

Our office and workshop doors are closed to the public from 5pm, Thursday 5th August due to NSW lockdown measures. Thanks for nothing COVID.

Let's face it, it's winter, and by 5:30pm it's cold, its dark, and you want to be at home and warm, not out picking up a computer. If you still need to do a pickup or drop off after 5:30, not a problem, just let us know and we'll hang around for you!

Annnnd we're back! Welcome 2021! It was just a short break for some of us over Christmas, and we're already hitting the ground running.
Just a reminder that our hours are from 9 am to 5 pm this week, but we'll be back to 9-6 next week. Our appointment spaces are also filling up quickly, so dont delay in making your booking, and if its an emergency, let us know.

Can you believe it? Only 16 working days left until Christmas! We have officially filled up all of our workshop appointment spots for the rest of the year, but we are now taking bookings for 2021.
If you have an emergency, DON’T PANIC. We have some emergency booking options available for you, just give us a call or send us a message for more details.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID19

To help us minimise contact, and aid in social distancing requirements, we have implemented a few changes to our services.
• We are now operating on an appointment only basis for all repairs. If you need our assistance, can you please contact us first to make a booking.
• Where possible, all support will be carried out remotely.
• Pickup and drop-offs will be minimum contact. Give us a call when you arrive at our office, and we’ll come out to you.
• We prefer that you do payments of accounts over the phone or via direct deposit, however we can also bring our EFTPOS terminal out to you.
• We ask that equipment is not brought to us until the day before, or day of your appointment time, and that there is prompt pickup of completed jobs. We don’t know what government restrictions will be put in place in the future, and can’t guarantee your equipment will be accessible until those possible restrictions are relaxed.
• Our office will be closed to the public while this is all happening.

Its that time of year again! ☕️☕️☕️
Aroma festival is on this weekend, and like the last few years, this means the carpark will be closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
We'll still be open on Friday and Monday, (Sat and Sun we'll be overdosing on Caffeine) but its going to be a bit hard to find a park. If your computer is a bit hard to carry, might be best to hold off until the carpark is open again, or alternatively ask us about our onsite and remote support options.

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since we posted anything remotely serious on here, but I thought it was about time for a quick hello, and let you all know about some of the changes that have been happening at Hunter ICT.

We started this year off to a cracker, and it’s been getting busier with every day. As some of you might know, we had two new great additions to our team last year, and we welcomed this week with another fantastic technician joining us. Our inside-out TARDIS of an office (because I swear its now smaller on the inside) is however still bursting at the seams with work, which leads me to our next big change.

To date, we’ve always tried to get to the diagnosis and repairs of walk-in jobs as fast as we can, and to provide a great service on top of the home and business support we provide. For various reasons however, we’re now seeing far more walk-in repairs than ever before, and we’re seeing more than can be completed in a day.

Like many other professional services, we’re now needing to use more of a booking/appointment model for workshop repairs and to help manage these walk in jobs. We understand that this may unfortunately result in some customers choosing not to proceed if they’re hoping to get it looked at on the spot, but our ultimate goal is to provide a better service with a faster turn around.

We will continue to provide emergency booking times each day, so if your repair is more time sensitive, please let us know when you make your booking!

In the coming months, we’ll also be making an easier path for seeing available booking times, and requesting appointments, but for now, please feel free to contact us to schedule a suitable time for your next support session or repair.
