Terms and Conditions
IT Northern Beaches Mackay

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of IT services by IT Northern Beaches Mackay ("Provider") to the customer ("Customer"). By engaging our services, the Customer agrees to these terms.
1. Scope of Services
IT Northern Beaches Mackay provides IT support services, including but not limited to:
β’ Software and hardware troubleshooting.
β’ Device setup and upgrades.
β’ Data transfer and recovery.
β’ Account management and transitions.
2. Customer Responsibilities
2.1 Data Backup
The Customer is solely responsible for ensuring that all data, including contacts, files, and applications, is fully backed up before any service is rendered.
2.2 Account Credentials
The Customer must provide accurate and complete login credentials for accounts (e.g., Apple ID, Google) when requested.
2.3 Authorization
The Customer affirms they have the legal authority to grant access to all devices, accounts, and systems involved.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
3.1 Data Loss
IT Northern Beaches Mackay will not be held liable for any data loss resulting from account transitions, software upgrades, hardware malfunctions, or other services provided.
3.2 Third-Party Services
IT Northern Beaches Mackay is not responsible for issues arising from third-party services (e.g., Apple, Google, Microsoft) or account restrictions, such as forgotten passwords or locked accounts.
3.3 Limited Liability
In all cases, IT Northern Beaches Mackayβ liability is limited to the cost of the services rendered.
4. Acknowledgment of Risks
The Customer acknowledges that certain services, such as software upgrades or account changes, carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:
β’ Data loss.
β’ Application malfunctions.
β’ Device lockouts due to incorrect credentials or account settings.
5. Confidentiality
IT Northern Beaches Mackay will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of the Customer's data and credentials. However, the Customer is advised to change passwords immediately after services are completed.
6. Service Guarantee
IT Northern Beaches Mackay guarantees services to be performed with reasonable care and skill. However, no guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes, such as data recovery or compatibility of new devices.
7. Payment Terms
7.1 Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7.2 No refunds will be issued for services provided in good faith.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By engaging the services of IT Northern Beaches Mackay, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
