✨ Branding Sneak Peek ✨

We’ve been keeping a little secret… and we’re so excited to finally share a tiny glimpse with you! Emerson from 'Emerson Fielke Creative' has been working her magic on LDCC’s brand refresh, and we are absolutely loving how it’s all taking shape! 😍

This is just a little snippet of what’s to come... with our new branding flowing through everything from: signage, the little details throughout our service, and our updated service documents.

We are so excited to share more with our families and wider community over the coming weeks but for now enjoy this little sneak peek, there’s lots more excitement to come!🌿

Talk about an adorable brand!

Say hello to the re-brand of Little Leaps Speech Therapy!
We've got joyful, fun, engaging, and authentic vibes, while realistically aligning with the 'little leaps' definition. There's no solid baseline to the letters, there are genuinely little leaps all throughout 💛

Bold and vibrant colour palette accentuates this all, and oh my gosh - the characters! I drew them myself. A little star, flower, circle, triangle, and rectangle all have their own personality.

We were chasing a trusted but engaging brand, and I think we've done just that.

I'm so excited for you all to watch this come to life over the next little while 😍

To be completely honest, I had no idea where to start when I opened Photoshop. Scrolled Pinterest for hours trying to find pieces of inspiration for the Presentation Night graphics. Tried and failed a first design.

Landed on this and damn I'm happy with it.
The depth. The elements. The editing. The type. The colours. The elevation. All of it.
I challenged myself to dig as deep as I could, and I won (despite it being a template).

Consistency is my guiding word - in literally everything I do.

And with the milestone game graphics, nothing out of the ordinary here. Consistent use of the type, layout and effects, but changed enough to not be repeated.

This one's been sitting on my wish list for years.
And we finally got there.

I had the privilege to design winning graphics for the Riverland Football League's Whillas Medal night in September. On a huge time crunch, I turned out 11 graphics across the A's, B's and Under 18's which was a huge effort.

The outcome? I love them. Took inspiration from a few 'trending' elements this year; paper cut out texture to border the hero cutout, inset rounded rectangle which aided in another layer of depth - and really, they're quite bright and fun graphics.

Utilised different podium textures, club colours, club oval drone shot, deep edits on the text and images to create what you now see!

Time to start brainstorming next year's graphics 😉

Anyone who’s chatted to me in the last few years will know my dream job is to be a Graphic Designer in the AFL, or professional sport industry.

So, over the last few months, I’ve taken up the opportunity to enrol in a program, SportsGrad, to help me take the best steps to enter the sport industry.

On Thursday night in Melbourne, and Tuesday night last week in Adelaide, I attended SportsGrad meetups, along with Cam Dixon, to improve my networking.

My main thought through this? I’ve got nothing to lose. And it’s exactly true. I met so many people, fellow SportsGrad Cohort members or otherwise, it was so nice to meet people in real life rather than just over a computer screen.

The best part though? Meeting and catching up with my new mentor Caitlin, from Tennis Australia. We had such a great chat about everything design, and just how similar some of our thoughts are! It puts me at ease knowing there’s someone I can look up to, in the industry, and know she’s got my back for any incoming questions.

I’ve walked away from the last fortnight with so many new ideas, and ways I can make the most of my skills to showcase to everyone. Keep your eyes peeled 👀
