Seems this one has been going on for a while as I found an article from 2 years ago -
Amazon Prime phone scam. You recieve a phone call claiming that your Amazon Prime membership is to be auto renewed today at $99
I'm assuming the idea is you speak to somebody and give them your credit card details to "cancel" the auto renewal,
