Things may slowly be coming good with the NBN, our monitoring software has shown that a couple of Tweed customers have their NBN back. Nothing any further South yet, but its certainly a positive sign.

Just a quick update regarding our telecommunications issues in the area.

The area is actually experiencing 2 outages:
The first one is a major piece of NBN infrastructure having no power at Woodburn - NBN is still trying to access this site
The 2nd is a Telstra mobile outage - which means many Telstra customers have no mobile access at all.

This unfortunate combination is why most businesses are only taking cash. A lot of businesses have a backup 4G connection for when their primary connection goes offline. However with Telstra mobile being down too, this doesn't work! Even the working mobile networks Optus etc are very congested, making it very hard to be of much use to a business.

Please don't get angry or upset with a business when they say cash only, its completely beyond their control.

Another project complete. Over the last 3 months we have replaced just shy of 300 computers for a client with sites around Northern NSW.

We had to go down and retrieve some flooded IT gear from Lismore this morning. The CBD certainly copped it! I thin we can safely say this equipment has seen better days.
