UIG has been involved in all aspects of OH&S within various construction and trade related industries for many years and it has became apparent that for many of the paper based compliance related activities which take place each day/week there simply must be a better way. UIG Safe Work Apps was thus

created to partner with and assist small business through to large multi-national organisations to streamline and improve the efficiencies, and therefore save expenses, associated with paper based compliance safety systems as commonly in use today. The first release from UIG Safe Work Apps is the UIG ToolBox App - The UIG ToolBox App is now available and was the direct result of industry consultation, testing, feedback and constant improvement. Continuing and ongoing further solution development, improvement and enhancement will continue to take place in partnership with those who benefit from the development undertaken so far. We are here to help, support and work with you.

Dear Valued Customers,

After many years of supporting the Toolbox app, we have made the difficult decision to retire the app from sale. We want to share the reasons behind this decision and ensure you can retrieve your data as required.

Why We Are Retiring the App
Increasing Costs: The rising cost of hosting and maintaining the app has made it challenging to keep prices reasonable while recovering our costs. As business owners ourselves, we aimed to provide a tool that was both affordable and practical. Unfortunately, this is no longer sustainable.

Platform Maintenance Challenges: Both Android and Apple require apps to be updated frequently to remain compatible with their latest operating systems. These updates involve significant costs, often running into thousands of dollars annually. Additionally, app platforms now hold us accountable for user-generated content, further complicating our ability to maintain the app.

What This Means for You
The app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
It will remain functional on Android versions 13 and below and iOS versions 15 and below.
Subscriptions can no longer be renewed. However the app will continue to run until we shutdown the service.
Our web server will remain operational until mid-2025, allowing you to access and download any past meeting data.
How to Retrieve Your Data
Log into the web server using your username and password at:
https://www.uigsafeworkapps.com/b/admin/uig/welcome

Navigate to the "Meetings" tab.

Select either "Download All Meetings" or the download link for individual meetings.

We will send further reminders and updates closer to the server shutdown date.

REFUNDS

Any outstanding licensing shall be refunded into the paypal account used to open your UIG Safeworks Toolbox meeting account. Further details shall be sent at a later stage.

UIG Safeworkapps Toolbox Tip.

When creating a new toolbox topic, if you are pasting text in from a word doc remember to "paste as text only" and then use the formatting tools on the web site.

This way your meeting will appear correctly in the app.

Commonly asked question: Do all attendees need to have an email address? Answer: Yes. Emails are sent after each meeting providing proof of attendance. Attendee's email addresses can be from any email system, they do not need to be a company address.
