There seems to be a bit of a shortage of modems/routers that accomodate land lines at the moment...

Local man literally cannot wait until morning to switch phone providers. 🏃‍♂️💨

Caught on camera at Jaycar Kempsey last night: A true master of stealth trying to get his hands on our PhoneTel $29.95 (Unlimited Calls + 10GB data) plan.

Word is definitely getting around that we're keeping things affordable while Telstra, Belong, Boost, Optus and Vodafone have all announced massive price rises... but mate, you don't need to go full ninja to get a SIM card!

10/10 for the stealthy hoodie-and-satchel combo, but 0/10 for reading the opening hours. We love that the new PhoneTel deal is drawing a crowd, but please, come see us during normal daytime trading hours! 😂📲🔦

Spooky sightings at Jaycar Kempsey! 👻🕵️‍♂️

We were checking the security cams from the wee hours of the morning (2:04 AM to be exact!) and caught this mysterious figure wandering around our back yard.

We have a few theories:

A local ghost? Hoping to score some spectral solder?

An electronics pioneer from the last century?

Albert Einstein himself? Did he return to calculate the relative speed of our new RC cars, or is he just looking for the right resistor to finish his time machine? (E = mc... capacitors?) ⚡

He does a quick lap near the trailer and then just vanishes into the darkness!

What do you reckon, Kempsey? Is our yard haunted by the ghosts of gadgets past, a time traveler, or just a very lost night owl? Let us know your best theories below! 👇🤔

Thats a wrap!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 11 years. It has been a rollercoaster ride, but a dream fulfilled.

Because of your support, we were able to help so many community organizations, from Coffs Harbour to Newcastle. Im so proud of being able to achieve that.

​We look forward to continuing to serve you from our new Jaycar/PhoneTel store, opening soon after Christmas—possibly early in the new year.

We will have the best range of Jaycar Kempsey has seen yet, as well as a really popular NBN and mobile phone plans, and of course our famous refurbished iPhones and new Mobile Phones.
