We were proud to deliver Passion of the Pilbara, Onslow’s annual community festival bringing locals and visitors together for a packed program of entertainment, food, culture and connection.

From movie night on the foreshore and a Mexican fiesta at the Onslow Beach Club, to morning yoga, community cooking and a Beer & Sear workshop with celebrity chef Alex Crisp — there was something for everyone.

The main event had countless fun and entertainment with:

With a community cooking demonstration from Sean Loke and entertainment across the weekend, Passion of the Pilbara was all about bringing people together and creating experiences the community can be proud of.

After returning to Newman for the first time since 2024, the Red Country Music Festival brought the community together for an unforgettable night of music, culture and connection.

With over 1200 in attendance, Australian Country Music Star Kasey Chambers headlined, with incredible performances from Sally Jane and the Bradley Hall Band.

The Newman Community Centre also brought the NAIDOC spirit to life with art and craft activities, celebrating culture and community.

From the first note to the final encore, it was a night that showed exactly what community events are all about.

The 7 Mile Rio Tinto Family Day gave families the chance to explore camp, see where their loved ones live and work, and enjoy a relaxed day together filled with activities, entertainment and community connection.

The snake display was a crowd favourite, the fire truck had the kids lining up, and seeing families connect with the workplace in a whole new way made the day one to remember.

Another great example of bringing people together beyond the job.

An evening of truth-telling, leadership and reflection.

We were honoured to manage the latest Reconciliation Memoirs event with Reconciliation WA, featuring the remarkable June Oscar AO.

A proud Bunuba woman, Indigenous rights advocate and former Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner, June shared powerful reflections on her life's work, advocacy and the future of reconciliation in Western Australia.

Interviewed by author Victoria Laurie, whose memoir series continues to document the stories of influential reconciliation leaders, the evening added another important chapter to this growing legacy project. Guests also received a copy of the memoir on arrival, creating a lasting connection to the stories and conversations shared throughout the event.

Events like these remind us of the power of bringing people together to listen, learn and reflect.
