🌟 Calling Women in STEM – Be a Mentor. Be an Inspiration. 🌟

Goldfields STEM, in collaboration with Curtin University / Western Australian School of Mines, is hosting a Girls in STEM event and we are looking for women working in STEM-related careers to volunteer as mentors 💛

We’re inviting professionals from all STEM fields, including (but not limited to):
👩‍⚕️ Nurses & health professionals
🧠 Physios
👷‍♀️ Engineers
💻 IT & tech
📊 Finance
🔬 Science
🚁 Mining & resources
…and many more!

✨ What’s involved?
No planning. No presentations. No prep required.
You’ll simply work with a small group of girls, chat with them, answer their questions, and share your career journey - how you got there, what you love about your job, and what STEM looks like in the real world.

📍 Location: Curtin University / WA School of Mines
📅 Date: Friday 6th March
⏰ Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm

This is about representation, inspiration, and real stories. Showing girls what’s possible when women work in STEM 💬✨

👉 Please tag someone or a business you think would love to be involved or would make an amazing mentor!

How epic was this in the St Barbara’s Parade last weekend!!

Huge thanks to the organisers and especially to local business Charged Rides and all the eRiders that made this effort as epic and inspirational as it was.

So just a reminder that among many things, OIT does action filming!! We’ve got the very latest Insta360 x5, Hohem M7 gimbal and the DJI Action 6 cam and with our EUC and OneWheel platforms we’re ready to take your club, business or personal brand to the next level.

We can do editing or share the files with you so you can DIY. Reach out anytime on 0437 129 880 or [email protected]
