Taj Ward and Fletcher Luscombe, from Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club, are world champions and record holders in the Line Throw Event, breaking the world record twice and winning multiple national and state titles. Their success has doubled participation in Surf Life Saving South Australia and inspired many young athletes. Supported by coach Matt Perrimen, family, and community, they also mentor juniors and promote lifesaving skills, reaching millions online and boosting awareness of this vital sport.
