Billable Items - there is a setting for starting new charges from particular dates and on the browser, you can select the start date and view the price
User maintenance - practitioner you can set OPAS start date and end date
User maintenance - Under Message Settings have added more merge fields. Legal Name, Position, and Qualifications. These merge fields are available for Manual Message, Manual Referral Message, Invoice, and Report Emails.
Message Template - New Letter setting allows you to print User Name in the letter header. Note these settings apply to all letters generated for the company.
Appointment - you can disable/enable auto pop-up waiting list suggestion on cancel of an appointment, unavailable appointment hover info shows who was created by, auto-set arrival if create invoice/patient note equal or after appointment start time

Some more details on updates we did this year:
Message Template - Appointment Reminder can be sent as bcc only
On an Invoice you can hide the patient contacts based on the settings
For Messages you can merge in your signature (from User Maintenance)
For NZ ACC users don't forget the referral counts the claims and the Patient Notes show the Claim Number

Patient maintenance
- has a deceased date field
- Patient Appointments screen. Has a go button that allows users to go directly to the appointment on the appointment screen.

Patient Message includes Referring ProviderNo as an optional field for mail merger. This contains the provider number of the referrer.

Patient Follow Up Report does not include deceased patients

Notification (on top right hand side next to the email icon) - users are able to read all or clear all notifications

Referring Providers
- If there is no contact link to the providers, users can create contacts easily as the system fills up the fields automatically.
- Patient Referral link will be created if the patients have a referral that links to the contact.

Appointment
- Appointment type is locked if users have changed it from the default.
- Appointment note will be updated if booking from the waiting list.
- In message mode Users can select patients and send them messages.
- On the Patient hover information there is an Appt. button which will show a patient’s appointment list.
- On the edit-appointment screen there is an Appt. button as well (which shows a list of appointments for that patient).
- Now when users go to the appointment by shortcut buttons, the appointment screen will scroll to the position where the appointment is.
- In rebook mode, there is an Appt. button on the information bar as well (same as edit appointment).
- We have added a Pending button on the edit-appointment screen so Users can make the appointment pending or not. If the appointment is pending and patients are booked from the waiting list, the waiting patients will be pending as well. Moreover, if users delete or cancel a pending appointment, the system will reverse back the waiting patient to normal status.

Company maintenance has a checkbox on the Appointment Settings which allows users to default the appointment to pending if patients are booked from the waiting list.

Message Centre allows users to send a message to multiple selected patients. Users just need to hit the plus button and switch to multi-message mode. Then, selecting patients users want to send to.

Message Template can put contact on the letter header

Dont forget these updates we added:
Appointment Stats Report summarizes appointments that have been charged. Summary mode is broken down with clinic / day / appointment type and Detailed mode provides more information including practitioner charges and patient charges.
OPAS Settings now has an Any Practitioners Checkbox - if ticked which will let system choose an available practitioner automatically after patients choose the appointment date and time.
(note: it will skip the step which is choosing practitioner)

Appointment Types Maintenance
- Foreground colour is customisable (use custom button)
- Recommend button will auto set the colour based on background (white/black)

Invoices, Patient Invoice & Invoice->invoice
- Flags email sent with the envelope icon
- mouse hover the icon displays date & email

Appointment
- You can scroll to the current time if users are on today.
- Adjust slot height and slot duration with calendar settings button (note: settings are corresponding with the settings on clinic maintenance screen)
- Shows the patient Preferred Name/Short Note on the appointment slot.

Company maintenance - Appointment Settings
- Scroll to current time defaults ticked.
- Show Patient Preferred Name/Short Note defaults ticked.

Just a quick reminder of features we added a while ago:
Appointment - Waiting list dialog height will now grow to consume more of the screen
Referral Links - You can add patients as claimants.
Invoice - Medipass Updates/Improvements
- On create of invoice will auto select claimant if the patient has one
- Can create/update Referral Links when setting claimant on invoice.
- Will create Referral Link if the claimant wasn’t on the list of links
- Update if the claimant wasn’t flagged as claimant on the list links
Patient Maintenance
- You can switch patients if you came in from multiple appointments
- Patient id is shown if you mouse hover on patient name
- There is a shortcut to consolidated invoice report
- In the patient appointment browser - if there is a money icon, users can click and go to the invoice screen
Company Maintenance
- Added an appointment setting called Patient Display Mode. This setting determines when patient note is displayed on Appointment View screen
- Always Closed - When in this mode the user will have to click on the patient note button to view the note. Note: button in green when there is note
- Display If have One - When in this mode note will be displayed if they have one. Meaning user will not have to click button to view note
- Always Display - Regardless of if there is a patient note will always be displayed.
Report
- Now if select particular practitioners, auto select practitioners’ email address
- Patient Statement Report display appointment date if have one

Appointment - Rebook
- We have 2 Rebook buttons. One next to the patient just select the patient for rebooking. One at bottom of Appointment Dialog selects all patients and appointment types.
- When in rebook mode will also work with waiting list add. Will default to Patient select. Will also default the appointment type if that was selected as well.
- When in rebook mode will also work with Practitioner Availability. Will also default to select appointment type when opening dialog.

Appointment - Practitioner current availability
- Now clicking on time slot buttons can add a new appointment.

Users & Practitioners maintenance
- Now can clear appointment color
- Now there is a button that can copy calendar feed URL to your clipboard - dont forget that you can use this link to feed your calendar (mine generates an ics file I can load up into Outlook).

Appointment - Practitioner current availability
- Now list time slots for the selected date
- Note click on the same day twice is the same as clicking on Go To button

Cancellation code
Added two new checkboxes for cancel codes
- Allow in App - Allows the user to user cancel code from eAlthLTE
- Allow in OPAS - Allows the user of this cancel code form OPAS

Appointment Screen
The color of an appointment is determined by
- Color assigned on the Appointment Type.
- If no color is assigned on the appointment type then the color assigned on user maintenance is used. (Default is blue)

Secure Messaging now live
Our ARGUS Integration is now live - Telstra have confirmed that we our implementation of their ARGUS system has been accepted. Now you can send and receive secure messages with eAlthLTE - there is a cost per message but the message credits are purchased thru the system similar to the way SMS creditrs are purchased. Cost per message is 25cAUD per message ex GST - as one of our users stated - thats cheaper than a stamp.

User maintenance
- You can now set the default clinic (note: currently, only for appointment screen)

OPAS
- Patients can cancel and move appointments. This is turned off by default but to change just visit your OPAS Settings
- Practitioners can have their own OPAS link. Using these links limits the patient to book only for that practitioner. To find the link, please visit User maintenance and go to OPAS Settings at the bottom of the screen.
- Patients can add notes. This note is saved to the Appointment Note. Default is this is turned off. To turn it on please visit your OPAS Settings

OPAS Settings
- Allow patients to cancel or move appointment within limited time.
If not allowed, display a message (note: only display if the appointment is out of the limit cancel/move time)
- Allow patients to add a note

Appointment
- Current practitioner availability allows you to select appointment type when going to the date. This means when go to add an appointment it will default to this appointment type.
- You can rebook the whole appointment even with multiple patients. Useful if holding exercise class with same people.

More things we have added to eAlthLTE that you may not know about:
Waiting List now has scroll bar
- Display Next and Last Visit including Practitioner that was visited
- Waiting List entries now have a Priority Option to bump certain entries to the top of the list. The default order is Priority followed by Waiting Since

Navigation Bar
- Previous screen link now appear on the right-hand side.

Practitioner Availability dialog now defaults to practitioners default appointment type. Use button to change default to new Appointment Type. If you don't have any defaults set this button will be disabled. Default Appointment types setup on User Maintenance Screen.
- Non-Business hours are now darker.

Please note Version Number is displayed in Side Menu. For best performance in Version 2 it is recommend to make sure your browser is up to date.

More reminders of the great features in eAlthLTE

Appointments features include
- Date picker has date range highlight
- Can change the practitioner display order
- Display cancelled appointment list
- Can edit cancel reason on the cancelled appointment list
- Waiting list displays and filters expired or current
- When adding a new appointment detect whether it's a new patient or not. Based on detection will change default appointment.
- Availability Browser - Allows you to view practitioners availability similar to OPAS appointment view.
- Appointment screen now receives updates in real-time. Add, Confirmation, Move, Cancel, Add One-Off Availability, Modify One-Off Availability, Delete One-Off Availability
- Notifications now created when Patient is marked as arrived. (Not created if set arrival for your appointments)
- Notifications now created when Patient is marked as confirmed. (Not created if set arrival for your appointments)

Settings->Cancellation Codes - Now can setup charges for cancel codes. Go to Charge Checkbox - Tick this if you intend to charge the patient when this cancel code is used. Default Billable Item - This is a billable item that will be added to the invoice. Normal Charge - Check this if charge normal billable items. Note use Discount fields to apply a default discount for this.

Future Appointment Report - Order is appointment by Date and Cancelled Appointment not included

Users Session - admin can see their co-workers’ user sessions

Users & Practitioners maintenance can set default New Patient appointment type

Company maintenance - can save company website URL and determine who is a new patient (other -> Appointment Settings)

OPAS settings - Now can change practitioner display order

OPAS - When a patient is booking from OPAS account will save values to profile. This will make it easier to book future appointments. Also dont forget to check your website and update your OPAS look and feel to match your website theme.

Appointment Type Browser - Now has a Duration Column.

Message Template - the following Patient Fields now been added
