A community of people interested and concerned with the ways in which emerging technologies(nano, synbio, geoengineering) are brought into our lives.

Many new technologies including Nanotechnology are rapidly commercialised without testing or public debate regarding the social, environmental, corporate and political dimensions of these powerful - and risky - technologies. The FoE emerging tech project aims to catalyse debate and change in the way we see, control and use new technologies.
