Woop woop!

The wait is over! The 2026 Celebrate Ageing | Seniors Month Guide is now available to pick up across Tasmania. At a whopping 96 pages, it is packed with things to see, do and enjoy throughout October, with events happening right around the state.

Pick up your copy from Australia Post outlets, Service Tasmania, Libraries Tasmania, local pharmacies, councils, Neighbourhood Centres and other community organisations.

A huge thank you to every organisation and event host who registered an activity, along with our sponsors, media partners and supporters who have helped bring this year’s Seniors Month to life. We cannot wait to see communities across Tasmania come alive this October!

Really happy with how this little booklet for COTA (Council On The Ageing) Tasmania has worked out.

It has some good do's and don'ts for writing and speaking about, and to, older people, and also some positive stuff about ageing that should put some wind in your sails.

Best of all it is written and designed by Tasmanians, all the photos were taken locally of locals, and the production was done in Moonah (Mercury Walch did a bang-up job with the printing, on Pacesetter Extra). No AI to see here 😁
