Designed in Melbourne, Australia in consultation with major associations including those supporting the disabled and vision impaired. An innovation to the mobile phone industry, the phone possesses no screen, personalised large tactile buttons, clear text, and the ability to call friends and family with a single button press. With these uncomplicated features, the kisa phone aims to finally make mobile communication accessible to everyone. Every kisa phone is personalised before shipment with up to ten dedicated contact buttons which take up the face of the phone with large text and pictures. Each kisa phone can have customers’ critical medical information and emergency contact numbers customised in large print on the rear. The kisa phone also has a large SOS button which immediately dials emergency services if pressed. Kisa is also a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), and is very excited to be launching the simplest mobile phone plans available in Australia - exclusive to the kisa phone.

On World Patient Safety Day, let’s take a moment to remember that safer care starts with listening, communicating, and making sure people feel supported.

Patient safety is about more than hospitals, treatments, and medical care. It’s also about the way we care for people every day — listening to their concerns, respecting their choices, and making sure they feel heard and understood.

For many older people and people living with health or mobility challenges, feeling safe can come from knowing that someone is there when they need them. Sometimes, that might be a loved one checking in, a carer offering a helping hand, or simply knowing there is someone they can reach when something doesn’t feel right.

Small moments of care can make a big difference. A phone call, a conversation, a helping hand, or simply being there can help someone feel less alone and more confident in their day-to-day life.

Today, let’s remember that keeping people safe is something we all have a part in — by listening, looking out for one another, and making sure people know they don’t have to face things alone. 💙

Because everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, heard, and cared for.

Spring is a season of new beginnings.

As the flowers begin to bloom and the days grow a little longer, it’s also a lovely reminder to pause and check in on the people who matter most. 💛

Sometimes, it’s the little things that mean the most: a phone call to say hello, a visit over a cup of tea, or simply knowing that someone you love has a way to reach you if they need you.

For many older people, staying connected with family and friends is an important part of feeling happy, supported and independent. And for families, knowing that their loved ones can easily get in touch when they need to can bring a little extra reassurance.

That’s something we think about a lot at KISA. Not just the phone itself, but the simple moments it helps make possible — hearing a familiar voice, saying hello to someone you love, or knowing you’re only a call away.

💛 If there’s someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, perhaps this is your little reminder to say hello.

Ask how they’ve been. See how their day is going. Have a chat about nothing in particular.

Sometimes, it really is the little things that matter most.
